ComTech provides good service and support of both IT and Phone equipment. Being able to retrieve our voicemails through email saves us time from calling in to retrieve them. I cannot express how amazing ComTech has been ever since we have began working with them. We've been a ComTech customer for over 10 years now, and I wouldn't trust our network security or technical support to anyone else. Okay, here's the deal. My company provided cell phone would download/update my email from my personal account, but not from my company's default email address on Microsoft Outlook. This means that I couldn't get or respond to customer's emails until later in the evening when I returned home - that's a BIG problem. Our company's VP, who is twenty years younger than I am, has tried on two occasions to set my email up properly.
God bless him, he worked on this project for fifty minutes, from 11:15 a.m. until 12:05 p.m. One thing is for sure, the young man isn't a quitter! LOL. One facet of maturity and wisdom, is knowing "when to tap out, " call it quits, give up, admit defeat, and ask for assistance. This kind of falls into the men with maps scenario, but I digress. (The poor guy had to deal with a rogue bat in the manufacturing plant, while he was messing with my phone, but that's another story. LOL).
Our VP calls the "professionals, " enter ComTech Network Solutions. (trumpet blares) The person that I was supposed to meet with, Ethan, had already gone to lunch, but the owner was there. He graciously agreed to step out of his office and take a look at my problem. Within fifteen seconds he handed me my phone and asked me to enter my email address and password. Badda Bing, Badda Boom, Presto Chango, the darn thing worked.
Both the VP and I had been trying to update the phone on the "email" setting. That makes sense right? Wrong. Microsoft Outlook email has to be set up through the Microsoft app in settings. ComTech knew this, we didn't. Price for fixing this aggravating problem? $0. That's right.no charge. My appreciation of their problem solving ability, friendliness, and courtesy? Priceless. Would I come here again with computer, phone, or IT problems? You betcha.
