Jessie Wilkins is why I am still able to use a computer with comfort. He's the technical support we all wish to have. 1. He seems to know everything about the software and hardware and prices. 2. He makes an appointment to come to our house within a day or three at the most. 3. He stays a long time until he had answered all my questions and issues. 4. Additionally he'll work by phone or by text for any short-term issues/questions I have. 5.
He's tall and nimble and can easily get to the backside of the hardware which is too difficult for me. 6. Most importantly he let me drive my decisions but offered many options and solutions. and pathways. I had been a Windows 7 user for years. Then my computer died. I didn't want to even attempt to learn Windows 10, so I went for over a year not buying/using a computer.
Then I was computer illiterate. He helped me buy the hardware that I wanted, but he was always cautious about my tendency to buy whatever the price. He is a technician, both hardware and software and is a very friendly chap. He is confident and patient and like a friend. The only discomfort I felt was that I was asking for too much of his time. But that was my own anxiety.
But that was not the case, it was just my own anxiety, because I called on him often. I am so confident now because I know I can always count on him. Hey. why should I struggle? The sign on his shop says both PC's and Apples. I used to work as an engineer and programmer in Silicon Valley. I was never satisfied with the technical support there. I wish he was around for when I needed help to make a living with computers. He's a genuine nice guy who is fast and seems to know everything. Larry Reibstein, Aptos California.

I just got my laptop back after it being in the shop for two weeks. The guy originally estimated two days. He said it was a quick fix. A week later, with no word and no one answering my calls, I visit the shop again. The same guy has literally just started on my computer. He gives me the reason it isnt working and tells me how easy it will be to fix.
He gives me a quote and i accept. Fastforward to today. I walk into the shop again. After no comfirmation calls or any retutn calls at all to find my computer is done but they were completely unable to save any data and they have lost my original harddrive. On top of that he charged me more than his quote. Despite there being no explained set backs. Do not trust these people witb your computers.

Jesse is a busy man, but if you don't mind waiting, and the wait is really not too long, it is well worth the wait. He is very knowledgeable, and explains what he is doing and how it affects the system in plain and understandable language. He made a home call for my computer, and for the time that he had spent on getting it to where it functioned properly, it was well worth the cost.

These people are wonderful! They know their subject extremely well, they charge fair prices, they're friendly, and they answer my naive questions without talking down to me. When a problem is simple and can be fixed in a few seconds, they might do it for free. That's quite a contrast to the chain stores that charge a LOT just to open your laptop. I live near Sacramento but have friends near Santa Cruz, so if my machine needs attention, I just bring it here on my next trip.
It's worth it to me to bring it here because I know for sure that I'm dealing with people who are honest, knowledgeable, thorough, and charge fair prices. I love these people!
