Pros: Knowledgeable. The technician gave a reasonable explanation in reference to most of my concerns. Also, the staff was friendly. Cons: When I picked up my computer, the sales representative told me the price, which was higher than the location had advised few times previously. (Including the quoted price which "included tax" when calling to inform me the computer was ready to be picked up.) There was no initial explanation for the price increase.
When I questioned the price, it was brought down to a lower price, remaining higher than quoted. Still without an actual explanation, only that the 3-4 times previously I had been quoted on the wrong hard drive. It was not until I called the owner that I received an explanation and he said he could refund the difference. (Which should have been handled previously.) This said, I felt inclined to do additional research to find out I could have gotten the same drive for 1/2 the discounted price.
In reality, this is beyond a concern with a few dollars. This is simply not the way I am comfortable doing business. In addition, I had been told by the technician that I could receive a printout of the specific computer issues needing repaired. (Specific virus info, malware info, etc.) Unfortunately, he continued to repair the system and did not advise me he was unable to provide such documentation until I picked up my computer.
When I called the owner and asked about this, he asked for my email address and stated he would email some information so I could better understand what had happened to the computer. I have not received this follow up, either. Recommendation: Based on this experience, I do not recommend this company to anyone.
