People are super nice, 10 min I finished my interview. waiting in outside is a little bit cold but still very happy to have a fast process.

Friendly staff and quick processing while inside. The place is indeed small from the inside. The security personnel outside assisting the applicants are super nice and friendly and will guide you however necessary. If anyone has a laptop or a bag, this must be left with someone or can be checked into the Fairmont hotel locker as suggested by the security personnel. Ladies are allowed to bring their purses as long as it doesn't contain electronic devices and other prohibited items.

The only items allowed while inside are your documents, key's and a mobile phone which must be switched off. The mobile phone will be taken by the security inside and a token will be handed out. It can be then later collected while exiting. There is no parking at the location, must walk to the consulate. Overall a great experience with a scenic location which is historic and iconic.

Staff very friendly. The experience was great. The building was artistic as well. Be aware not to go too early if your appointment is in winter. The place is small and one has to wait outside until there are enough room to sit. If you arrive too early you'll have to stand outside.

I highly recommend this consulat. I drove about 4 hours from Montreal to get my us pass done the ladies and the officer re super helpful the security guards they re super friendly and gentle, I was super tired and got everything done in 2 hours and a half. They re much much better than the consulat in Montreal.

Great consulate, very friendly security officers and consulate officers, polite and efficient, no extra waiting time. By the way, if you bring our mobile phone and car remote key, you should turn it off and leave it at the security before you can get into the room, very reasonable approach.

Got my visa renewed here. It's a very small office, with just one window for the visa officer. Got my passport and documents back in 3 days. Security Guard in the front is super friendly. My recommendation is to stay at a nearby hotel (Eg: Chateau Bellevue). That'll allow you to explore the area and not have to drive to the visa appointment

Had a talk with lady, She was pretty rude and answering my doubts as if they are doing some favour on us to give visa for america. If I had known it will take not 98 days for appointment to get in Quebec. Information is false in website.

I CAN NOT SPEAK HIGHLY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS CONSULATE. I asked very politely to security outside if I could go to the roof for a view of the Quebec river, and he was more than happy to help me out. As he escorted us to the roof, he told me that the consulate actually has a international relations program to improve our relationship with our southern neighbours where they welcome Canadians to come tour the consular, hear about great American achievements like smoked briskets and Barack Obama, and at the end, they give you a gift certificate for 35% off at the fairmont restaurant across the street. VERY COOL!

Be prepared to stand outside (even in winter) the consulate because of limited seating inside. I had to suffer in the freezing cold, standing for 90+ minutes, hence the rating. Go atleast an hour or more early than your appointment just so that you don't end up spending more time waiting in queue. Once you are inside things move at a good pace. Do not carry bags or food or anything else, except your requested documents. If you carry bag, you need to consign your bag to a cloak room in the nearby hotel and pay for the service.

I dont know how this place only has a 3.2 star rating. I am a US citizen who traveled to Canada and accidentally had a passport expire while in Quebec. I was mortified at the airport not being let board but these people took care of me 100%. You will probably need several documents to collect on your own but they walked me through the process. You need to work with them on security though.

Remember you're in a foreign country, not the US. This is a highly secure facility so dont show up with your luggage or backpacks. You can not just expect to mosey on into here. Speak your concerns with the guard and hand him documents if necessary. Be polite and patient and you will be treated the same in return. Thanks to these people, what could have been a very scary two weeks stuck abroad is now only an 18 hour delay. I can now spend the weekend with my family and not worry about getting home.
