This is where I took my MSF Basic Riding Course. Learned a lot and tons of fun. Driving range offers an awesome view

Haven't been to Surry Community College in years and boy has it changed! Dropped my grandson off to take some tests. Good thing we were early so we had time to find where we needed to be!

Worst school my sister and I went to. Never again, tell your staff member (The janitor) never to touch my sister again. I get she was running in the hallways but still. Also too much work is posted!

The staff was very helpful and professional. They will explain what you need to do to sign up for classes and financial aid. They will go over the classes you can take, were to locate the classes and other items you may need to sign up for classes. How, if you are going for bachelors degree you may want to make sure the associates degree will transfer toward the bachelors.

They also offer continuing ed classes to help with certificates to help with finding jobs. They also work with NCworks to help in aiding you find jobs or start a new career. These classes are usually less than 200.00 but financial aid will not pay for these classes.

Just applying to the PTA program. Everyone has been so helpful from admissions to financial aid to the program instructors and assistants. I have been impressed by their compassion and assistance thus far.

I am a student at another college, and I needed two DMA courses, so I took them this summer with Surry because they were the only school around that offered them online, which works better for my schedule. The whole process from application, to registration, to completing both courses was a breeze. Everyone that I spoke to during the process was super friendly and very helpful, especially Janice Lowe and Melissa Atkinson - thank you both! :

This college is great and affordable. The teachers I have had in the past do a great job teaching and are preparing me for my transfer to a 4 year university. SCC is the most logical step for a local education that will save money for future college debts.

Some of the instructors are tough, but I never had these. All of my instructors worked with me to ensure that I got what I wanted. I was pushed to pass my own standards and each instructor was more than willing to take time out of their schedule to make sure it was done. Mr & Mrs. Bretz, Mr. Montgomery, and Ms. Narehood are just a few of the best people this college had and have to offer. The Knight's Grill also has great food and extremely friendly staff.

One of the most useless schools in an utterly backwards region; which probably explains its uselessness. Locals think the place is wonderful, and why not? Have you been there? There's nothing else, and for most graduates from the local High Schools--which are also essentially useless--it seems like it holds some academic merit. However, they do little in the way of preparing graduates for employment or transfers.

The schools is managed so poorly advisors do not return calls, entire student files are lost, and they even killed a boy with faulty welding equipment--which they never showed accountability for it. I honestly don't even know why the place exists.

It is a delightful campus. Well landscaped and nicely set off with trees. Safe places to talk between buildings. This was my first time teaching for the Small Business Center on campus and had a great time.
