My husband has always used Ventura County Computers and when my laptop starting being slow and glitchy, he recommended that I call them. What great customer service, pleasant staff, reasonable price and a LIKE NEW computer. They even turned my old drive into a handy back-up and the final invoice was less than the estimate, which I would have happily paid as quoted.

The turnaround was less than a full business day. The sweet office guard dog, mini-dachshund Ellie, was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend this gem of a local small business!

These fellows have been my "GO TO" computer store for years. They are SO quick to help, and can do so much remotely to get me up and running again. Even If I have to take my equipment in, they complete the repair in one day! This is huge. AND they speak in terms that I undetstand and not technobabble so that I 'get' what has happened and what they have done to fix it. I love that. Call them, you'll be glad you did.

I would like to thank the whole team at this place for finally figuring out what the strange problem was with my Dell laptop. I initially bought at the Oxnard Fry's store and their repair team was always stumped and sent my computer back to factory 4 times. I gave up on them and went to the VC computer guys. Turned out--it was a simple issue that started with the purchase--the DELL factory shipment had the wrong A/C adapter in the box which had a much higher wattage.

No one at Dell or Fry's bothered to check the adapter. I would have no idea which adapter was the proper fit for this computer and I almost completely burned up my laptop. This a great lesson for all computer purchasers. I give all the credit to guys at Ventura County Computers for patiently walking through the steps to help solve this issue. And. they suggested improvements on my computer to add more space for future use. The is the A-TEAM in Ventura!

Have you experienced the fear of losing ten years worth of family memories? If the answer is yes, then you know how indebted I feel to Ventura County Computers. They restored my 10 year old desktop I'd failed to backup, they did it quickly, kindly, and at a fair price. Probably the best experience I've had with any electronic related purchase. Spent frustrating hours trying to diagnose and access my Dell Inspiron Desktop without any luck. There are over 30000 pictures on that machine. While I had some backups, I probably would have lost some pics I hadn't backed up. Ventura County Computers cloned the HD to a 500Gb SSD. I took a gaming laptop for repair to frys electronics only to have the laptop break again a couple days after bringing it home. I then took my gaming laptop to Ventura County Computers and Rick ordered me a new keyboard and my laptop was ready within a few days for a very affordable price! I will definitely go back for any other computer or laptop repairs

I was referred to V C Computers, a few weeks ago and am happy that I followed through with that referral. Rick received me very nicely by phone and Michael went on to be very service oriented. You ought to check out their work space. They have several computers set up around the office that they are working on & Michael was able to advise me and assist me to get my new computer set up, get the hard drive data transferred & all running well. There's a super advantage over places like the Geek Squad, where you lose your computer for 8 days at a time. & it's hard to get ahold of Geek Squad. They were reasonable with their pricing and let me know I could check back in with additional questions.

I built a PC and I brought it to VCC to transfer all my data to my new hard-drives (Last time I attempted to do this I created a huge mess). Michael quoted me a great price vs a competitor who was charging $400-500! Well things went a bit south. My motherboard was defective. Due to poor customer service via the retailer I bought from. It took a bit longer to exchange my defective motherboard. Rick & Michael were being extremely helpful during the entire process, and felt bad in the mess I got them into.

But they were not worried at all. Which was great, because I didn't want to see a massive bill (which is to be expected, I wouldn't have blamed them if they did) for the time they spent to diagnose and swap my defective motherboard with a new one. Instead of throwing back at me and saying "Not my problem, I don't want to be liable!". Instead Rick & Michael helped me through the entire process.

I picked up my PC, I had Michael fire it up in-store. It booted up and everything loaded just how I left it before I built the new one but 10x faster! Best part, They didn't charge me an arm and a leg for all the extra work they did for me! It wasn't to far of what they originally quoted me for. I was so happy. Thank you Rick & Michael so much. I love my knew PC and this wouldn't have been possible without you guys!

Right in the middle of our transition to virtual learning, my laptop started loading a black screen upon startup. I have a geek squad membership, so I wasn't too worried. I ran over to Best Buy the next day and their team member suggested that I purchase a new LCD for my laptop, so I did. I took my laptop to VC Computers and asked them to install my screen because Best Buy was essentially too busy.

I explained my problem to Michael and he told me that he would have it for me no later than the next morning. I get a call [a couple hours later] from them telling me that they fixed my computer without replacing the screen. Not only were the a lot quicker in service compared to Best Buy but they're a lot more knowledgeable as well. Don't waste your time going anywhere else! Good prices too!

I had taken my computer to Gizmo Wizards in Oak View. They basically were going to order me a new computer, as they said nothing could be done with the fact that it couldn't turn on. I decided to get a second opinion. Good thing I did. I ended up spending 100 bucks on an easy fix. I will always go to them and send everyone there!

I used to go to Mitec on Thompson. Not anymore. These guys are faster and have better prices than Mitec.

This place is awesome. I've brought two computers in and they have been fast, cost-effective and reliable both times. The second time was for my laptop which I rely on for school. They were able to find and order parts needed and it's good as new! The staff was really friendly and I was able to drop off the day that I called with no appointment needed.

Due to the quarantine, they came right out to my car to get my info and it was so quick! Definitely will be bringing all my computer related issues to this place from now on. Thanks for the help, guys!

My computer crashed and although it was under warranty, I took it to get repaired locally as I needed it for work asap. I found VC Computers and spoke with Michael who said he could assess it for me. He provided prompt service and replaced my computer hard drive at a reasonable price. I was glad that I brought it here for repair. I was very pleased.

I had decided to build my own gaming PC which turned into my own headache. Decided to give them a call and see if they could help me out with the computer, well they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Gave me a fair price and even installed windows for me which helped me greatly! If it wasn't for their knowledge and ability to do the work quickly I would have done more harm to the computer than I could solve. Great folks and even better customer service!

I wanted to build a gaming computer for my son. The team at Ventura County Computers showed me a lot of fun builds and presented me with a variety of options. They took time to talk to me about how to get the best performance, and how I could save money on certain components and still have a great build. In the end we settled on a unique design, they built it quickly, it looks amazing, and the performance is perfect. It really has exceeded my expectations. My computer of 10 plus years crashed and I was heartbrokened at the thought of losing our babies' pictures and videos that I knew I should have backed up all these years but never got around to. Well, thanks to the gentleman at VC Computers, not only were all my valuable data saved but they made my old computer run like new, AMAZING! From start to finish, they were all professional, patient and friendly.

Even with phones ringing and customers waiting, when it was my turn they took the time to answer my questions and get detailed information to do all they can to help. It's obvious they are experts with extensive knowledge of old and up to date technology. And their prices are more than fair and reasonable! Great experience working with VCC! I was having issues with Photoshop crashing and memory storage. Rick and Michael came up with a plan and began implementation. Now, I can continue to use my upgraded computer instead of purchasing a new one. All issues have been taken care of. And when I am ready to upgrade to a new computer we already have a plan in place and VCC will build it! Great job and thanks Michael and Rick!

Searching for the sixth star! Ventura County Computers exceeded all my expectations. While out of town I recieved a message from my 89 yo mother stating that she was having computer problems. Within 30 minutes of my call Adam was on his way to my mom's apartment to help out. Before day's end the computer was returned and working better that it had been. According to mom, better than what it did new. Thank you Ventura County Computers for the on-call assistance.

Had multiple issues between my desktop PC and my I-Pad. Called the store at 10AM and Adam was at my front door at 11AM and all problems were corrected and in back to working within one hour. What great techs these guys are! I can't recommend them enough. They are genuinely nice and very efficient. If you need computer help, do yourself a favor and call them. You will be happy you did!

VCC took great care of my family and neighbor. They upgraded our OS from Win7 to Win10. The work was done for a very reasonable price, and the guys were fun and easygoing. They made this transition for my 96 year old grandmother and 73 year old mom as easy as possible. Our neighbor had her computer upgraded as well, from a 32x machine, and all work was done for a reasonable price and in a speedy manner.

They also sell GPUs, CPUs, and other hardware. They can do custom computer builds to meet a wide range of needs. The office is clean, organized, and efficient. They are prompt to answer the telephone and have very professional and polite phone skills. Additionally, they gave us a small discount on additional work we needed. Their time and energy is much appreciated and I am very thankful.

Ventura County Computers diagnosed and repaired my wife's non-running desktop in about two hours - all on a late Friday afternoon before the weekend. The integrity of the repair was clearly evident: installing a modest capacity SSD based on use rather than up selling to larger capacity (which I later requested anyway) along with configuring the repaired but tired hard drive for auto back up storage to prevent future data loss.

The machine flies now, and the price for initial diagnostic which was applied to total repair cost was more than reasonable in comparison with other estimates at locations that could only say they might be able to work on the computer by Monday. Honest, quality work at a more than fair price - that's Ventura County Computers.

Another fantastic performance by getting the job done lightning fast. I was having indications of hard disc problems, brought it in, and in 2 hours it was back in my hands working flawlessly, all for a very reasonable cost. Leaving town in 2 days so their performance allowed me to wrap up a lot of loose ends.

These guys are awesome! Went in because my MacBook Pro was not starting. Called me within a couple hours to let me know that my logic board was fried. I knew it was coming and I already had an estimate from another repair shop. They came up with an alternate solution and saved me a lot of money. Also installed a solid state drive. My computer is running better than it did brand new. Great service!

These guys are serious pros! They were my consultants as I looked for a new laptop to purchase. they talked me through the details and helped me realize exactly what I needed. I had heard them advise about increasing the performance of older machines with a solid state hard-drive. I had them install a big new one on my brand new computer. Toby and Rick are most amazing at their computer knowledge keeping me updated with Windows 10 upgrade among other things. My wife and I have a business where we rely on tech help from them. We particularly feel the remote access that they have is valuable in that we do not have to bring the computer in to get services. That is very helpful.
