Midwest PROTECH was jointly founded in 2007 by Rod Johnson & Matthew Buechler in the lower level of Matt's home. Since our inception we've provided a full array of computer and networking services to small businesses and residential customers all over the Greater Cincinnati Area. We discovered early on that many of our clients had no idea who to trust or turn to when dealing with computer issues.
Matt is our President and serves as a Senior Technical Consultant and is one of the co-founders of Midwest PROTECH, LLC. Matt has been involved with computers since the early 1980's, starting with BASIC language programming on a TRS-80 computer. In the early 1990's he began work with Client Server Associates as a Visual Basic programmer where he started to learn networking and IT skills.
We specialize in protecting your data at all levels. We offer several types of backup from basic stored-at-your location file backup to HIPAA-compliant secure cloud backup. Brown Bag Backup is the easiest to use thumb drive-based backup around. We have designed this backup software to be inexpensive and straightforward for regular backup of documents and pictures for any Windows desktop or laptop computer. It's only $39.95 and can be installed on your external hard drive or a drive purchased from us.
Cyber Security Awareness Training - We offer continuing-education for Cyber Security Awareness for insurance compliance and for general employee training needs. Secure wireless network setup and configuration - we specialize in Enterprise-class wireless at SMB prices. Our goal is to give each business we support the same personalized attention that goes into each individual client relationship we develop. From day one, our goal has always been to maintain a long term relationship with all our clients.

Absolute life-savers. Midwest PROTECH embodies quality, responsiveness, and professionalism. More to the point - they CARE. We've been working with them for several years through several major projects including replacing our corporate servers. Special mention to Matt and Mike. We're a small business with no trained IT staff. We've worked with dozens of IT contractors over the years and these two are hands down the best.

Great people, who actually care about their customers. I have had my work computer serviced, two laptops rebuilt (each had failed 1 year after purchase from big box store). They even ran a scan on my desktop computer while I waited. 10 Stars would not be enough for how much I trust them to give me great service at a fair (maybe even low ) price.

Our small office (4 employees) was having some big problems with our internet connectivity. Contacted the IT firm we've been using for 6 years (it was purchased by a much larger firm last year) on Tuesday and as of Friday I yet to hear from their support folks. Enough was enough! I checked out the reviews on Yelp for Midwest Protech and gave them a call. In a word - WOW! Matt and Rodney were absolutely wonderful. I will never call anyone else to help us with our IT problems.
