I had my old Mac screen cracked. Was not worth replacing due to age. Was given great recommendations from the technician there and decided to purchase directly from them. Not only they got me my new MacBook overnight as I needed it ASAP. They transferred all my pictures and folders of music and other to my new laptop. I highly recommend and will definitely be my local go to spot.

Took my mac to be repaired at AlfeNet while on a business trip in the NY area. The laptop screen would turn blue and would not boot up. I specifically asked him to call me in the event they would have to erase all my data or replace the hard drive. Without contacting me, he went ahead and erased all my data, billed me $375 for the repair, and the worst part of this nightmare, two days after getting it back from them, the same blue screen reappeared. Took it to the genius guys at the Apple store when I returned home from my assignment, they billed me $135.00 and it worked perfectly.

As my first choice, I always like to support a small businesses over the bigger guys, but this guy had an attitude, and if I lived and worked closer, I would have pursued the matter further, but since I live in another state, this unapologetic store will not earn a good review from me.

Great Service and Very Reasonable Pricing We rented a copier and some office equipment through Alfenet for more than 4 years and never had any issues. They provided training and support, on demand, and any supplies or replacement parts were always available within 24 hours. Overall, wonderful service, professional people. Greatly recommend.

I found them via Lenovo repair center search. I had a problem with LCD on my ThinkPad. They did diagnostic on my laptop and they found broken and damaged cable behind the lcd hinge that caused screen flickering. They called me same day with a price. Fair pricing and good service. I also did a memory upgrade as they suggested while I was waiting. Memory upgrade really helped me with laptop performance since I installed adobe creative suite. Nice guys to deal with!

I called this place for an estimate on a laptop power jack repair, they said about $60. Thinking that was fair, I brought it in only to be told in person there would be a $38 fee before they could even talk about repair. and THEN the estimated $60 on top of that if I was right about the problem (which I knew I was). While that rubbed me the wrong way, I had already brought it in and needed it fixed so I reluctantly agreed.

The next day they called me and told me the new power jack would cost $90 for the part PLUS $30 for the labor cost which of course was never mentioned until after they already had some of my money. To make matters worse, I was so suspicious that I did my homework and looked up the part I needed and it costs $6 retail. SIX DOLLARS! These criminals are trying to charge me $90 for it plus unmentioned labor costs when it probably costs them $3 wholesale at most?

They are the absolute scum of the earth, and I obviously took my computer back from them immediately. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY MONEY EVER! Scam joints like this need to go out of business.

Brought my laptop here to get fixed cause it had a virus. It took him a month to fix it (when initially he said it would be just a few days) and he charged me over $150. Didn't even save any of my files. Said that would cost extra. Also when I went to go pick it up on the day when he said it would (finally) be ready, the place was randomly closed. On a tuesday. At like noon. Never again.

I went in to buy a wireless adapter for my computer. It was not guaranteed to work with a Mac, so I asked the guy if I could return it the same day if it didn't work. He said, "yes, " plain and simple. I told him I would keep the shrink wrap and all that, to make it easy to resell if a return was necessary. Well, it didn't work with a Mac, and when I came to return it, (in like-new condition with the shrink wrap still on the box) he calmly pointed to some fine print on a small sign near the ceiling, telling me there was a 20% restocking fee.

Thanks for pointing that out in the first place, buddy. Restocking for what, exactly? Seriously, I was the only customer in the store both times. Would it have been too much trouble to let me know in the first place? On top of that, I had to calculate how much he had to give back and then sit there for 10 minutes while he tried to figure out how to give a refund (minus $10 "restocking") from his card scanner.

I was going to give more stars because I believe in small businesses (even if they have to sell their stuff at a bit of a premium), but the more I think about it, the more this place deserves only one.
