OCC was founded in 2005 by Ted Hughes to support Austin business with comprehensive and diligent IT consulting, maintenance, and remediation services. Ted, an EE, got his bachelors of engineering from Vanderbilt University, with a focus on VLSI. Starting a software business in college, Ted created a software alarm clock that utilized the fast growing digital music space. After University, he worked at the National Institute of Standards and Technology developing tools and systems for use in semiconductor research.
