I don't like posting reviews on companies I didnt receive a full service from but my experience was so unprofessional I have to. I inquired with this store due to all the good reviews but was sorely shocked at the customer service. Extremely rude and patronizing. Demands I bring him a $150 deposit in cash before even looking at the computer and when asked why gave a nasty reply. The attitude was so sour I unfortunately had to look elsewhere.

Great, prompt service. I called in the middle of the day when my laptop shut down, and explained that I needed it back as soon as possible for work. Ludovic had it back to me by the end of the day, so that I could use it while he located an additional replacement part. Highly recommend.

I emailed and got a prompt response for my power supply issue on my desktop. He came in on a saturday afternoon to help me change my power supply as I was unable to take time off during the weekend. Much appreciated.

My laptop screen was completely cracked. I contacted Lu and it was very easy for him to find out the exact screen I needed to replace it. He did the research for me and sent me a link. I ordered it and as soon as it came in the mail I was able to schedule an appointment that same day to get it repaired. Not only was I able to get it repaired the same day, I also was able to pick it up the same day.

He's fast and efficient and great on communication. You do have to pay in cash but hey, every business has there preference. I totally recommend him! My computer feels and looks brand new again!

Awesome work and would highly recommend! The guy/(owner?) is a bit gruff/blunt on the phone but he was able to meet on short notice. He took my 8 year old MacBook, which wasn't taking a charge, spent about 30 minutes with it, and discovered a slightly damaged part in the charging unit. Then, being considerate of the fact that I was frantically trying to resurrect my laptop for a late afternoon video call and didn't have time to wait several days for a replacement part, he used a special kind of tape to kinda jury rig the damaged part back into place.

And it works! I've had my MacBook repaired at the Apple store a few times and they always require at least a few days for repair work. And I'm not sure that they would be willing to use tape as a quick fix when I was in desperate need of a quick fix. This guy/owner (I feel bad for not getting his name!) went way above and beyond and totally worth the $75!

B4 Computers is a great service! I had a problem installing a new cooler in my custom built gaming PC. My computer wouldn't turn on. I called Ludovik the next day and asked if he could come to take a look and see if he could fix it. He said he could and a few hours later he showed up at my apartment and immediately came in and took a look at the computer.

After three hours, and basically rebuilding my PC one part at a time to make sure everything worked, my PC was alive again. Ludovik was incredibly helpful and let me know everything he was doing. This was incredibly helpful as I will keep this knowledge forever. Not to mention, his prices are great!

Wow. Can't say enough about B4 Computers. I've had my computer repaired twice from B4. The most recent occurrence came after another place was unresponsive and unreliable, resulting in calling B4 to see if they would b able to assist. Thankfully, B4 was able to repair my computer in less than a day. Not only were they quick to turn around but they were responsive, professional and reasonable. My review is for service I received over the phone that caused me to bring my laptop somewhere else. I felt the guy on the phone was being rude to me because I sounded like a young woman. I like my laptop repairs without a side of sexism, thanks. My laptop had water damage and the guy was suggesting I bring it in to be cleaned and then maybe it would work - $150 either way.

I asked if the alcohol swabbing was the type of thing I could do myself and this is what set the guy off - he kept telling me "not to dump alcohol on my computer". I really felt like he wouldn't have responded this way to an older male asking him the same question. He kept going on and on, ridiculing me for thinking I could do such a thing. I've seen friends set up their own computers and I'm generally handy so I thought maybe I can do it myself, I've been able to do a lot of things on my own at my business that I thought I needed a professional for.

I called back a few days later thinking I might still bring my laptop to him but when he realized it was me, he goes "so you didn't dump alcohol all over your laptop?" Again, I really thought he wouldn't speak that way to another male. I ended up bringing my laptop to Geek Shop near Borough Hall and the guy was super nice - advised against cleaning saying it almost never works. I'm glad I went somewhere else, otherwise sexist guy would have my $150 for no reason.

This guy is really good and reasonable. You drop off at this weird location (clothing store), but the guy does good, cheap and fast work. Awesome job.

Spilled hot tea on my MacBook Pro laptop(2011). Took it to Ludovik (@ aforementioned garment store) who assessed $150 for a cleaning of the computer's internal components. I was skeptical that the computer could be repaired. Other shops quoted me at $300 for a similar cleaning so I went w/ Ludovik. After 2 days he informed me I needed to replace the MagSafe board for $50.

Again I was skeptical since the computer wasn't fully diagnosed and I didn't know if I was going to replace every component. And I needed my computer back fast. The looming cost of replacing the logic board and keyboard could have been an extra few hundred dollars. But I agreed. The next day the computer was repaired, all components in working order.

Total cost: $200 Time: 3 days from drop-off. My impression: Ludovik is knowledgable, honest, practical, and quick. No repair job is a guarantee, but I don't mind supporting a small business that does good work.

I initially called to ask about the service, Ludovik asked me some questions in the phone and immediately identified the problem. He was willing to work as soon as possible and solved my problem within a couple of hours. Great service with great location in Tribeca.

B4 computers is, by far, the best service I have used. I was referred to them by word of mouth. I had a NASTY virus that shut my system down a day before a huge deadline. I was panicked and looking for another computer that I could not afford. b4 came onsite and fixed my computer in less than 2 hours. It is fully operational. To build a safer city, I strongly believe Major de Blasio should build a new city department for computer emergency, so that there will be much less yelling, crying, cat-kicking crazy people angered by paralyzed computers hanging around. If so, I highly recommend Ludovik from B4Computers to be the head of this new department, because his service is as forceful as NYPD and as prompt as FDNY.

More importantly, he has such a good heart to have the priority as helping people, not as making money. I found B4Computers online because my laptop recently stopped connecting to the internet. When I walked in, my only hope was to have my laptop fixed as soon as possible. When I walked out after 1.5 hours, I not only had the trouble virus removed, but also had a new upgrade of antivirus software, an update of network configuration, removal of some concerned internet setting, and the installation of a new system to monitor my computer.

I found B4Computers via Yelp and am extremely pleased with their prompt turnaround, good communication and fair prices. Somehow, the WiFi on my laptop died. B4 quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it. B4 is a drop-off spot within a cheap clothing store on a side street just south of Chambers. The store seemed a bit sketchy at first, but I took a leap of faith and left my laptop.

The computer staff was not present at the store. The clothing store clerk put the owner on the phone, and I was able to tell him the problem I had. The owner was at the store last year when I had a problem with another laptop that died and was beyond repair. The lack of Manhattan rental overhead costs is reflected in the pricing of the repair services. Cash only.
