This is a hidden Oasis for computer repairs. I've taken 3 laptops and they brought them back to life at a reasonable price. In this day and age where electronics are disposable, they find a way to repair what others simply tell you to get a new one. I'm an old school guy and hate to keep buying new stuff. I have a Panasonic Toughbook they were able to install Windows 10, add a second battery and upgrade the RAM to 16 GB.

They also rescued an old Mac Book pro with a blown up battery. Installed new battery, cleaned the hard drive and installed the new IOS operating system. On my professional side they are a lifeline for my business. I have a network of 16 terminals and they help me out pretty fast every time I have a hardware or software problem. These guys are truly Masters in the art of computer repairs. I'm glad I live close to them.

They took several days to not fix my laptop. Wasted A LOT of work hours hoping for a simple fix that I did not get. They promise one thing and deliver another. I was at least refunded but I'll never get that time back. Nothing worse than people who don't respect your time

I have nothing but positivity because everytime I have come there, my problems are solved, I get great customer service, their work is top notch and I find their prices more than reasonable. I will gladly return there before I head to the geek squad.

Best customer service experience I've had in a long time. Unfortunately, I didn't get the workers name who helped me, but I came in with a failed MacBook Pro charger and the person working was quick to address the issue for me. I was in and out of the store in 10 minutes with a perfectly efficient charger. Thank you again for being so kind and professional.

Incredibly kind and professional and quick service, could not have had a better experience getting help wiping a computer. Best Buy told us 2 days, and we were able to get fixed day of. Such reasonable pricing, lovely communication. Thank you so much for making a hard day easier! Will definitely recommend to anyone with computer issues.

Although I really liked the person who initially helped me, unfortunately the refurbished laptop I purchased was not functional (I used it for about 20 minutes and then it crashed - and every time I turned it back on the screen flashed on and off). So I immediately returned it and was assured that the person who processes credit cards would be in the next day.

I stupidly didn't double check my account until a few weeks later, and realized I wasn't refunded. I didn't receive a single voicemail or email from them after the return, and I even have documentation from them confirming I returned the laptop. They've given me the runaround since then, stating the laptop was totally fine and they will not refund me.

They won't return my calls or messages, even after one employee assured me I would hear from the owner soon. I've had to open a dispute with my credit card company to try to get my money back. It's wild because I was actually going to have my other laptop repaired with them, which would have probably cost more than the refurbished laptop did! Super super sketchy - be careful!

Cheaper than other places and the guy who replaced my keyboard on my MacBook Pro was very friendly. But, be sure to answer your phone when they call back because they seem to take that personally. I had to wait a week after my part came in to be able to drop my computer of. Apparently that means you don't get same day service, and the guy in the shop on Sunday morning was super rude, didn't give me a call to let me know he didn't even do it Sunday. So, I got to show up when they opened Monday just to be told it wasn't even started yet.

Life tip: Despite listed hours everywhere saying 9-9 they don't actually open till 10- and Sunday Guy didn't say anything when I said I needed it by 930 for work. I didn't actually get my computer back until 2:30. Still decent timing compared to others but for the love of deities they NEED to work on communication with clients.

Fantastic customer service and great computer repair shop. I had problem with my apple laptop because it was water damaged. I called on Monday morning and they told me to bring the computer as soon as possible. The same day they called me back and they told me they can fix my computer and recover all of my data. I was very happy to hear that. they gave me a very reasonable price to fix my laptop.

On Wednesday morning they called me and they told me my computer and my data is ready for pick. It has been almost 3 months I have been working with my laptop and the computer is working perfect. thank you for your great work and I highly recommend this company.

Unfortunately, I'm not able to give 0 star. Not only they didn't fix the projector we brought (colour wheel issue) but they made it worse as it didn't turn on at all when we picked it up. Moreover, they lied to use the entire time (e.g. didn't receive the part needed, the manager wasn't here, wait 2 weeks to "fix" it, never called). please DO NOT GO to this place.

Pure scammer Update: it has been 2.5 months and they still haven't called Update 2: it has been 5 months now and still nothing. Update 3: we never got our projector nor got any compensation for it. They can't even fix their own screen (photo for proof)

Brought a laptop to have the screen repaired. Agreed to pay extra to have the part delivery expedited for a little less than half the original price. Ended up paying almost double the original price without having the opportunity to agree to the price changes. I should've just bought a new computer. Really disappointing.

*********DON"T BOTHER****** dropped off my apple mac book pro mother board for an easy repair, it had a tiny spill/liquid damage about 3 years ago. This machine has always been plugged it at my work station and ran perfect plugged in, but very slow when on battery. I decided to sell this machine, before doing so I wanted to take care of this issue. Called Computer Answers, had a detail conversation on the issue with my computer.

I repair computers, I told them the exact issue " ic q5300 pbus" it's a $5.00 part, he said it was about $200 to repair logic boards, I told them I can get a working board for $100, he said bring it in and I'll see what we can do. I had to call them to check on status, I was told it was going to cost $200, said no thank you. When I picked up the board the ic was missing, I told them to put the ic back on.

They called me, said you board is ready. Installed mother board, turn computer on, it got so hot, smoked and just about caught on fire. Called right back, the guy got very defensive, said if I repair computers why didn't I do the repair myself, told him on our first phone call and in store that I cant solder, my eyes are very are bad. he said that they record conversations in store and over the phone and that I said that the board never worked. They said they would have the manager listen to the recordings, nobody got back to me. I would stay away, too many other place to choose from.

They did a really nice job keeping me updated on what they would do and when (it was an iPad Screen replacement). There was a little problem and when I brought it in, they immediately fixed it and apologized for any inconvenience. No push back, no problem at all. The screen is perfect and they were a pleasure to work with.

I requested a quote via yelp and they responded quickly. I stopped by that evening to get my iphone screen and battery replaced. Karim was very helpful and personable. There was a mix up with the price but he cleared that up for me and also gave me a discount! He worked quickly and my phone was like brand new in 15 minutes. Will definitely come back if I have any tech issues.

My Galaxy S7 battery had reached the end of its useful life. Kareem was personable and professional and had me up and running with a new genuine Samsung battery in short order at a good price.

I had a great experience here. They replaced the screen on my ipad mini 2 retina. They had to send it to Brooklyn and it was back and ready the same evening. Thank you.

My screen was coming off and they fixed it quickly within minutes! Truly grateful! Keep up the good work!

I've lived across the street for about a year now and Computer Answers has not failed to provide me a service I ask for and they usually offer on the same day! From lost wires outside the usual usb/hdmi cables to a broken hard drive, I was able to be serviced the same day. The long hours have proven convenient since I am usually getting into these issues later in the evening as I return from work or, in the past, school.

I dropped my external hard drive and as a result, the components inside were moved so I could not plug in the external hard drive to recover my backed up data onto my computer at all. I brought it to Computer Answers and an employee opened up my hard drive, fixed the mechanism that was out of place, and restored my files onto a temporary hard drive so I can upload them onto a new hard drive at home.

I have now bought my first desktop and they will provide an installation after a few problems I ran into. I will provide updates soon. ----------- Update: They fixed my computer extremely quickly (it was a problem I never could've solved on my own). No complaints here :)!

SCAM/FRAUD THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY We dropped off our computer to get a hardware repair in the headphone jack. They never called after the part came in. Finally we stop by and it's been there for two weeks with no phone call. We dropped it off and once it was complete, the sound was not working. Turns out, they had ordered the wrong part. Round two (and one month later), my husband goes in to pick up the computer, it's still not working.

The guy working there blames it on the headphones. My husband goes upstairs to try with new ones. Sound still not working. When he comes back downstairs, the guy said that it was working before and my husband must have done something in the five minutes he went upstairs. Are you f#^%-ing kidding me? We asked for our money back and he refused. Don't waste your time or money on these crooks.

There are plenty of honest shops to go to with good customer service. I hope this shop closes permanently and something of good quality comes into the neighborhood. We don't need this.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY I brought my MacBook in for repair. I left it for diagnosis and they damaged the headphone jack. They ordered the replacement part and said they would call me. They never did. I stopped by and the part had arrived. they ordered a cheap $5 part that did not work. I had to wait two additional weeks for the Apple replacement.

When I picked up my computer, it was still not working. I asked for a refund and he refused. He was extremely rude and hostile to me. I contacted the owner and never followed up. Next step is small claims court. Along with enduring terrible customer service for a month, my computer was never fixed and I was not refunded. Don't waste your money here. They don't deserve to be in the neighborhood.

We purchased a refurbished mac air from Jerome. He is very knowledgeable about both Macs and PCs. He even offered to make sure it had every program installed that we required. Before paying he had us test run the computer to make sure it was operating the way we wanted. Even though its a refurbished model he made notes in our invoice that included a 6 month warranty so we can bring it back if there are any issues. Great customer service! We finally found our neighborhood spot for all computer and cell phone issues. No more Apple store for us!

After months of dealing with my Ipad problem we have finally come to an equitable agreement, after speaking with the owner.

There is a new keyboard on my laptop, but my battery drains way quicker than before and something is now wrong with my speakers. I wish I had the new keyboard and the computer functioning like before I dropped it off.

I went to Computer Answers in hopes to retrieve pictures from my old cell phone which had a shattered screen. They were able to help me out and get me all fixed up with all of the data and pictures that I had been without for so long. I spoke and worked mostly with Paul, who was a great help and I appreciate how customer service and satisfaction is one of their top priorities!

Between Nick- EV Store Manager the two repair techs, Percash, Isaac, and Tohir- these boys are wonderful! All four went way above and beyond to get my iPhone fixed properly. Each made great strides to correct the problem and convinced me several times over that they value their customers and ensured satisfaction. They even did a house call in order to install the final part for me.

How many 'You break, We Fix' computer repair shops would do that? Not many. Focused on making their customers happy, even if that happens over Christmas. Don't be fooled by the discount basement vibe- for these boys have hearts of gold. *I can not speak to the character of anyone else working for this company, though I know they have multiple locations.

Computer Answers is a one-stop shop for all your electronic repair needs. The staff is extremely professional and welcoming. I was treated like a friend as soon as I walked into the shop! Their service is extremely quick but also done with care. The prices are great compared to what you would pay at many other local shops (especially in the village). The location is also convenient as it is right off of 2nd Ave. Their hours make it easy to walk in whenever.

DON'T GO HERE FOR HELP! I brought my phone and the guy didn't know how to fix my iphone 7, he broke my camera cable. The other guy told me they figure out the problem and that they would buy me a camera free of charge and then days later when I came to see if the camera had been delivered they told me they weren't going to order the camera for me because it was already broken. I will be contacting my lawyer to dispute his misconduct. But other guy was nice, he fixed my computer.

Not that great. They are saying no charge for diagnostics and if they fuck up they are not offering a restock fee for an unnecessary item they installed like a battery. Pretty useless place.

This is the right place to fix my iPhone! My gf got her screen replaced at a very fair price and with good quality. My camera was broken and couldn't focus, so I brought it here after asking a bunch of phone repairing places. I was really surprised by how professional they were, and they never disappointed me! They got the job done perfectly. Also, those two guys are really friendly and helpful.

I needed a screen replaced on my daughters phone. I submitted a claim on a Thursday with Asurion who contracts with Computer Answers. I was able to schedule an appointment for Saturday morning. Chris came to my home, replaced the screen within 1/2 hour. Very professional and quick. Very happy with the service. Thank you!
