We called R Computer for some help regarding Microsoft Word and Word Perfect which had been giving us problems when composing documents. Steven was very helpful and friendly with solving these problems. He also took the time to check and correct other items he found in the computer that didn't seem quite right to him. We would certainly use his services again. Steven for president!

Stephen was able to get all my data transferred to my new computer, set up my word and excel, and even install the old Windows games that aren't included anymore!

I took my 1.5 year old HP Envy 17 laptop in a while back, due to a hard drive being corrupted and not booting. I informed the tech this happened after a major update. The guy informed me that the hard drive was locked and they couldn't do anything except replace the hard drive. I let the technician replace it and requested my hard drive back, he informed me I could, but it was broken.

When I went to pick it up, the guy then informed me that there were also some internal issues, that he forget to mention, that wouldn't allow him to put all the screws back in, due to being broke. He then told me I needed to replace a bracket for the bottom cover and hood, for the screen, to correct it. I opted out of this due to the cost, which was upwards of 1k.

Fast forward to now, I took my laptop into a repair place abroad due to the hood popping and making it hard to open. I sat with them while inspection was done and they showed me that there was in fact 6 screws missing from the bottom cover and nothing internal was broken, just the screws under the rubber anti slip pads were either missing or not screwed in.

This cause a lot of movement. Once they put new screws in, all the problems with the screen hood and plastic were fixed. I decided to give them the hard drive that was "broken" to look at. I have been using it as an external. They hooked it up and told me it also was not broken, but locked due to a update crash most likely. I let them keep it for a few days until they were able to correct the corruption and get it working again.

If you go here I would just ask for them to go over anything they did. I am not necessarily saying they do bad or shoddy work, especially since they have great reviews, but I think I either got a poor technician or the guy just did a poor job in order to upsell.

Holy cow! Can you say IT crisis management?! After several almost sleepless nights relating to my system resources being zapped and countless hours of calls to Microsoft 365 support, I was able to get my system going with the help of Ben at R Computer. I was greeted with a fabulous cup of fresh brewed coffee in their beautifully appointed lounge while my desktop was upgraded on the spot.

I found my savior for IT sales & service. They are the best. I was going to try a "big box" competitor but then I thought, how can I be assured I am going to get a technician that is actually knowledgeable? Walking into R Computer, you know instantly that you are being well cared for. I made the right choice with R Computer. This is the "Nordies" of IT services.

I dropped my laptop and went to R-computer to see if it was salvageable. The staff there was straightforward, promptly responsive, and honest about their diagnostic process and recommendations. I ended up getting a new laptop because it wasn't worth saving and repairing the old one. The staff let me bring in my new laptop and transferred all my programs and comments from my previous hard drive.

There was a diagnostic fee, but it was waived when I decided to have the files transferred. I'd say it was a fair price for their services and felt professional and honest. I would recommend bringing in any computer related issues!

I just had a computer crash. Called R Computer in a panic as all our bookkeeping data and all my spreadsheets were blocked. I took the computer in and it was beyond repair (and old). I had R Computer build me a new computer and was pleasantly surprised when Keith spent a great deal of time not only installing my programs and my data, but spent time showing me many things about Windows 10 and computers in general I had never understood before.

I am female, 77 years old and definitely not a computer geek. I came home with a new fast computer and LOTS of helpful knowledge. I also know from past experience that R Computer is as close as a phonecall if I need computer advice. Plus, they have sweet doggies who greet you in their beautiful shop.

We had just bought a new computer and needed to have the data from the old one moved to the new one. Ben and Keith were great! They did it quickly and professionally. A few weeks later my other computer was acting up so I went in to see about getting it fixed. Ben saw the problem right away and there was no charge. This place lives up to all the great reviews. I highly recommend it. BTW the architecture and design are fabulous.

Ben is very efficient and professional, if you have any computer issues, this is the place to take it. I landed up buying a new PC They transferred all my data from my old system to the new system, as well as made sure I had all the programs I needed already installed. I've been buying all of my computer equipment from R-Computer for more than 20 years because its superb, extra-effort customer service always guarantees I get the right equipment for my needs, as well as rapid support for routine maintenance and deadline problem-solving. Recently, I needed a new printer. Over the course of several weeks, Ethan Ting worked with me, listening closely to my answers to his questions about printer needs, work habits, long- and short-term goals, budget, etc.

He researched the H-P product line and came up with the perfect printer for me: an H-P PageWide Pro 477. What a beast! It's like trading in my parents' 1950 Mercury for a new Bentley or Rolls-Royce. Powerful, Quiet, elegant, a perfect example of form following function. Installation was a snap. I then printed some documents and photos, and compared them with prints from the old H-P (a good one, but ancient. ) Wow!

The difference was stunning. I never would have found this printer on my own or by wandering through one of those big-box obscenities. Ethan's service was far above and beyond anything a competitor could offer. He went out of his way to make sure I got the printer that was right for me, not the most expensive one, a cheap pile of junk or something the manufacturer was pushing.

He found the exceptional value that I needed. Ethan's performance is an example of how everyone at R-Comp treats customers. And it's why I've been doing business with R-Comp since 1995.

We started working with R-Computer when we decided to upgrade our system. To upgrade we needed new computers and to dispose of our old ones. We also wanted to get rid of old wires and make our building look smooth. Ethan set everything up: from our new computers, disposal of old computers, clean up of old wiring and installation of new wiring. Sean installed our new computers and helped us set up our new system and everything ran smooth. Everything was much easier than I had anticipated because of their help and prompt answers to all our questions. If I could rate them higher than 5 stars I definitely would.

From start to finish my experience with R-Computer was great. Ethan Ting did a great job directing me to the right hardware/software. The product was delivered by Brad Charchidi on time and as promised and he backed up and installed the existing software and data onto the new system with any issues. The invoice was timely and correct and I worked with Rhonda to easily pay the invoice with my credit card.

Hey, I bought my second computer at R-Computer over three years ago. They have maintained my computer and repaired it when, I had been going to places on the internet without out update software protection, (Facebook). R-Computer is the ultimate back up. We've been patronizing R-Computer for more than 25 years now, mostly to replace old computers with new ones. They've always been helpful in their recommendations and fair in their pricing. Recently our three year old HP laptop developed a blue screen and was not amenable to being fixed using the internal diagnostics. Took it in for service and Ben outlined the possible scenarios and costs. Turned out the wireless card had failed, but he also checked it out generally, removed some malware, installed some updates and now we're up and running again.

A bit disappointed that he wasn't able to complete the service as quickly as he anticipated, but other than that, quite pleased with our experience. I'm now going to arrange for a remote repair for a network problem with my desktop computer and expect that too to go well.

When you scroll through the reviews of R-Conputer, you will see a majority are five stars. There is a good reason: these people take care of you and meet you at your knowledge level. Twenty years ago, a fellow girl scout and computer guru-IT Lead?-at St. Mary's, recommended R-Computer to me. Since I was a Mac girl, I filed the information away.

Then the husband just could not handle the (easy) Mac interface, and it was time for a new computer. Ben and Ethan took a long time with us, discovering our needs and designing the right computer package for us. Then they installed everything and made it a click-and-go experience. Our son and inlaws have entirely different computer capability, and R-Computer designed computers best for their more sophisticated use. I have used R-Computer in the past and they did great with an older desktop and now with a newer unit, I had some issues with. They ran some test cleared that up and suggested some upgrading of a drive and made a huge improvement. They did not charge an arm or a leg but well worth the upgrade. I'm ready to take my Sony laptop in for a service check up as I know I can trust them to do right by the customer.

Our company have had a contract with R-Computer for a long time and they are heads and shoulders above all the other contractors we had in our past. Response is usually in a reasonably timely manner. Once on the job, the techs usually resolve the problems quickly to put us back on track. For a company that relies heavily on communication between the various sites, this type of service is critical.

On a person note, I just purchased a tablet and needed help in customizing it to my peculiar needs. I easily made an appointment with their tech, Stephen Haitch at their Concord location. Stephen was knowledgeable and also very patient in pointing out easier and more functional approaches than what I originally have in mind. What answer he did not have was quickly provided to me as he reached out to the other members of the team.

All in all, it was a very fruitful hour and a half that I spent at their location. Just a side note, their new office is a very welcoming and well decorated facility that on entrance, more resembles a cozy cafe than a computer geek's work space. Well done!

Another great experience with R-Computer! This year 2017, our business computer was extremely slow, it would not load pages, and it froze for long periods of time. It became increasingly hard to do business with our computer not working. I knew exactly who to call- once again, R-Computer saved the day. I requested to have our favorite technician Sean come out, they scheduled us at a time that was convenient based on our schedule.

He was able to take all our old data (and thousands of photos) and install them onto our new system, and even added extra memory, so our system's speed would not be impacted. With all the wonderful experiences I've had with R-Computer, I will never look anywhere else!

We had them replace my teenage daughter's cracked computer screen and we would definitely use them again. They are reasonably priced and very courteous. They explained the cost beforehand. No surprises. I had my daughter do the talking and they were very patient with her and made sure she understood. Great company!

A bit of a hidden gem but easy to get to get to. I depend upon my laptop for business so much these days. The battery was dying and a small spill made my keyboard glitchy (technical term :)). Keith took care of both issues in a short amount of time and the price was very reasonable. I absolutely recommend these folks for your computer drama. You'll have immediate confidence that they know what they're doing. Also of note - their office decor is inviting. Looks like a wonderful place to work!

If there is one business in the world that I am thankful for its R-Computer. The customer service is second to none. Do not take your computer anywhere else. My pc was on the fritz and was already slow and not working the same way. Then my daughter walked over to it and pushed the on and off button over and over again until my computer self imploded.

Its spirit left its body and took all my photos, documents and everything else dear to me with it. They got it back into working shape. I was able to save all my photos and deactivate my photo editing programs and Itunes. In the end, I had to buy a new computer. But I was able to easily transfer all my stuff over to the new one with ease. Ill only come here for my computer needs.

This place is amazing- I've been going here for over a decade! Even though they're pretty far away now, they have amazing customer service and are good about explaining what's going on with my computer. Their prices are entirely reasonable and they stand behind their work- I've never had an unexpected issue.

My computer is little over a year old and has been running slow (and driving me crazy) ever since I purchased it. I have had many techs try and determine why my computer is slow.because everyone said it shouldn't be slow! I recently had Ben at R-Computer take a close look at my machine. Even through the hard drive passed every test as being good. Ben was not convinced.

He offered to replace my hard drive with a solid state hard drive for a very reasonable cost. He said if it did not drastically improve the performance of my computer.there would be no charge. The result was a drastic improvement in my computer performance! Ben was right! Ben has great instincts! Thank you Ben! I love my computer now! I highly recommend R-Computer.

Wow! What great service at R-Computer! I brought my laptop in for repair as I had heard good things about them. Not only was the staff extremely friendly, but they also offered me a coffee while they did the paperwork. You just don't see customer service like that any more. As far as my computer repair, the staff was clearly knowledgeable, and they diagnosed my machine in one day and had it repaired in less than 3 days! Wow! Thanks again R-Computer. It was really nice to have a stress free experience at your shop in Concord.

My Lenovo Idea Book (laptop) had been totally useless for a long time. Went to the Geek Squad and was very disappointed with their service. Found out about R-computer and was totally amazed by Keith Mundt's expertise and pleasant treatment of his customers. Moreover he showed me a quick fix for my computer. It's now working fine and I didn't even spend a dime on it. R-Computer is a great service company with knowledgeable and customer friendly staff. They will be my computer service company from now on.

Helpful, prompt, attentive, and most importantly - COMPETENT. Wish it cost a little less given the incredible efficiency of the repair, but sometimes you have to pay experts a little more who take a little less time than your average hack. Lucky they had the part I needed, a laptop LED screen, 25 minutes after I dropped in, I was left with a much cleaner (they wiped it down for me) and working laptop. Kudos in particular to Jason for his straightforward and quick repair.

I don't know shit about computers and I didn't know what was wrong with my laptop. I brought it here and they were able to find the problem, explain it to me, and then fix it. It was super easy, plus Keith was super chill AND informative. I would definitely recommend this place.

Utilized the services of these guys for over 15 years. Service is exceptional, knowledgeable, and they thoroughly communicate with their customers. They've moved to a nice site, ten times an upgrade from their old one, and based on their level of work, I can see why. Simply put they are awesome!
