The PenTeleData speed test is a diagnostic tool that is designed to help our Technical Support staff evaluate the performance of your Internet connection within the PenTeleData network. Note: In order to achieve better speed test results, please ensure that you take the speed test on an average of three times. If you feel that you are experiencing slow data transfers on your Internet connection you can contact Technical Support.
Do you need to contact one of PenTeleData's departments and forgot the phone number or email address? All telephone calls may be monitored and recorded for quality assurance and training purposes.

We recently had an outage of service which was significant to our business for multiple days. Trying to get someone to respond first and then when it would be resolved was a significant issue. It had a major negative impact on our business. Our outside tech advisor is recommending we switch.

I have been a loyal customer for at least 10 years. I have moved from Sussex County to Burlington County. I have enjoyed not having to change my email address. Whenever there is an issue with my emails I simply contact PenTeleData and my problems are corrected.

Email speed has been slow and unreliable for several months. It took over a minute (worst case) for my email app to communicate with PTD's email severs. For example, I had to wait for up to one minute or more to delete a single message. Now, it takes five to ten seconds. Talking to technical support did not help. Some of their technical folks are good - some not so good. They don't mind taking your money for terrible performance. Their web mail is faster, but not well designed or very sophisticated for the user.

Love Service Electric. We've been customers for over 30 years and wouldn't consider going elsewhere for our cable and internet needs. The customer service is outstanding. IF there is a problem, they'll trouble shoot over the phone (which usually works). But if a tech is needed to come out, the appointment is scheduled and they are always on time!

Excellent service. Very few interruptions in service. Great tech team serves you anyway at any time. Best thing I did was switch to PenTeleData system. You can count on the service 110% 24/7 365 days a year. Cost is reasonable and there have been no complaints for many, many years. Rating is excellent! Five stars!

I see many reviews complaining about speed. Does this depend on your area, that is, a "pipe" to an area can only carry so much, so during prime time hours you may see a slowdown. Also the speed issue may not be PTD. We had a problem over the holidays during prime time where Netflix was buffering more than showing video. I tried playing videos elsewhere on the internet and that was fine, so maybe it was Netflix servers overloaded.

Haven't had a service issue yet other than the initial hookup to our new house took over 2 months! Living elsewhere in the country I think they have a decent price for what you get. But again you may get different results if you live in a congested area.

I have been a customer for just under two years. There is no comparison to my previous supplier. We only had DSL because of where we live, then Blue Ridge Cable came to our area. I now have very quick internet speed and can have 4-5 devices streaming at the same time with now problem.

I like them fine most of the time. They can be a little aggressive with blocking spam or at least they were while switching/upgrading the online email service. I had to set the system to allow messages received from some family members. When I had their web service while at another location it was up and working quickly most of the time. Currently, we are in a communications hole.

Blue Ride/PTD does not have cable here and even the best competitor can only provide slow service. We've tried to twice to get a fresh estimate of what it would cost us to extend the cable from a nearby location. So far we have received no estimates despite promises of the same. Chances are we would not be the only ones jumping at the chance for better service but I guess we would have to go advertise to all of our neighbors or something to prove it to them.

VERY inconsistent and frequently changing download speeds. After resetting my modem and router, I MIGHT hit 150 Mbps download speed (the speed I'm paying for) for an hour or two, but by the next day, I'm down to 20-30 Mbps speed. I've called more than once with this issue, but never have consistent performance.

If you had a choice we certainly would not recommend PenteleData. This Large company also has a monopoly on just about all the information/Communication in a good chunk of PA. Recently, it has participated in cancelling one of the best news programs it carried in an obvious effort to snuff out differing opinion. Remarkably, this News program consistently interviewed an upstanding member of the US House and is the representative for a large part of the constituency of PenTeleData. You just cant make it up. It's hard to support this company.
