Visitors will enjoy the unique rooms, nooks, and crannies filled with books. The reading selection seemed very robust for the size of the place - I was happy to see a table dedicated to small literary presses and translated lit. Book Soup will definitely be a regular stop whenever I'm in the area.

Among the last independent bookstores. A great selection for their size and you can pick up signed copies too from time to time.

Support your local bookstore! Especially if they are cool like Book Soup! You can easily spend your whole day here browsing everything from luxurious coffee table books to classics to current best-sellers. Or you can buy online and quickly curbside pick up as I frequently do. Lots of staff recommendations, great gifts (socks, cards, pins, pens, puzzles etc) - there will be something for everyone. There is also a small kid's corner.

Compact but really eclectic and fun bookstore. Love supporting indie bookstores, but tbh it's just a great bookstore-indie or otherwise!

I love this place. I come here to buy all of my books for staging that I do for clients homes. I may buy all my coffee table books here for the designs. They're always super helpful and box of books for you, have a great selection. Also I love the parking behind the store

Small but mighty, this bookstore is a well-curated independent store. A fun place to find books and gifts.

Great selection of books and little gifts! I picked up a couple of Xmas gifts for co-workers, which they loved! (A mug with Alexis from Schitt's Creek saying "Ew, work!" and a dish towel with dogs on it that said "People I'd like to meet: 1. Dogs")

For my money, the best indy book store in LA. Parking in the back - albeit, small - with a wonderful selection of new books. Ask and they'll order anything for you, too. I often go to their sister store - Vrooman's- in Pasadena and you can tell the quality runs company wide. I love Book Soup.
