DONT GET ANYTHING OVER 100-200mbps! i purchased 1 gig wifi speed and all seemed well until i did an actual speed test at speedtest.net. i was only getting around 250mbps! i thought maybe i just needed to tighten some cables or move the router but no! i did another test after the router reset and only got 80-100mbps speed! everything only got worse! ITS A GIANT SCAM. i recommend their lower speed plans but DO NOT waste money on their "high speed internet"!

I was told that a tech would be here for an installation between 1 and 3, and here I have been sitting, waiting, on my day off. It's now 3:40. This is not a good way to begin this professional relationship. 4:45, and someone finally just got here. Once again, this is my day off and I was told someone would be here between 1 and 3 and your people roll up at 4:45. This is ridiculously bad service and I have no idea what your product will even be like yet.

I use Vyve internet. Where we live we don't have many service providers in our area. We chose vyve and are really happy with them. We have several tvs and electronics that use wifi etc. They are Arial and then run lines underground to each home. Their call center and reps are extremely helpful and friendly. The service can be spotty from time to time if the weather is bad but if you call vyve they will try and resolve the issue or get a service tech out asap.
If your in mcloud area go for vyve. Dobson fiber is trying to put their lines in and around our neighborhood and let me tell you, Dobson fiber has cut every oge line, water main and even vyves internet lines for 2 months now. So I'll be very hesitant to switch to Dobson fiber if their so careless putting their lines in and wiping out everyone's oge service for several hours at a time and a few times a week at that. Whoever Dobson had to spot the lines screwed up majorly.
But anyhow, if your looking for a good provider with excellent rates definitely go for vyve. We've had them for 4 years almost and love them. You also get to speak with Americans you can understand and that's a huge plus for our family.

Poor customer service vybe has been working on the lines in my hometown in kinder Louisiana the Internet has been down for mostly January and February from 9 to 3 every day they are doing an upgrade I think they should give me 1 month free Internet why should I be paying for something I'm not getting unhappy customer I called the customer service center they said it was nothing I could do about it because I didn't document it how am I supposed to document two months of Internet up and down with all the aggravation t-Mobile is looking real good right now they're offering a special on their Internet service for existing customers

Im giving 1 star only because the internet is fast most of the time. The customer service is horrible with Vyve. I switched from AT&T and was told they would beat the price I was paying. It is now $100 a month more than what Greg sold it in to me at. When they ran the service to my business it was supposed to be fiber and buried. They lied and ran coax and ran it above a parking lot where trucks pull through and unload and barely clears some of the trailer tops.
I was told several times by Greg Kolsut and his manager Josh Lawing that it would be fixed and have called customer service 5-10 times and still nothing has been done. They wont connect me to Greg or Joshs supervisors and nobody will call back or attempt to fix the problem. Watch the bait and switch when dealing with Vyve folks!

Terrible service. The month of January I was out of service for 14 days. Of the many calls with tech support, I mentioned I wanted my bill pro-rated to reflect actual service recieved, and I was assured it would be because they are terribly sorry for the inconveniences. January bill arrived at the full rate. So I was lied to. I called Vyve immediately and was demanded half off my bill, because I only received half a month of service.
The service representative was very sorry but told me the maximum discount I would receive is $30, he wasn't allowed to do any more. My response was then cancel the service and send it to collections, because I am only paying for what I received. We had this exchange 3 times, then he decided to give me a $40 credit, slightly more than half, and was there anything else he could assist with.
So I was lied to again, regarding the discount available. The location in Oklahoma, is a bad joke. Fiber lines are strung along my back fence, kids, pets and lawn mowers can easily damage them. At the top of the block, one fiber cable is just laid across the street, 2 road cones secure it. We all drive over it every day. I've requested a bury order and informed Vyve about the exposed lines and the one across the road.
If you are forced to use this ISP, expected outages every month, often days at a time. I run my own equipment, and as a IT professional it's all on battery backup, expertly configured and I don't have equipment failures. My ISP does, and any 9 year old with dad's pliers could cut the exposed fiber lines. Or a pet can chew them, and one gets run over by the entire block every day. That's the service you can expect. I'm considering switching to AT&T DSL, over fiber optic, because it will be more reliable! That's a hard fail.

Our cable and Internet are out. Again. 2nd time in 24 hours, umpteenth time in the last weeks & months. I'm not exaggerating when I tell you it's constantly out. We have been loyal to them for 10 years because their customer service is so wonderful. But this is ridiculous. My husband works from home, and I homeschool my kids. We have to have reliable service. Vyve also took down their Facebook page because they were getting so many complaints. That's how bad it is. Done!

Totally agree with the other ratings. Worst Service Providers and Most Unethical Individuals in the Business. Run don't walk in the opposite direction! Had a residential service with them for years. When I moved to the West Coast we converted our residence to an Airbnb in the midwest. They converted our account to a business account without explaining all the catches. It's a 36 Month Contract detailed in the fine print which they failed to explain. Brad Montgomery kept referring to the audio call in which I ordered the service.
I finally agreed to listen to his recording and the service representative did confirm I wanted a commercial account but failed to tell me it was a 36 month contract opposed to the residential year contract and did not explain that my cable package would be most expensive for significantly less channels. We basically receive the 10 local channels that I could get with just a digital aneta that can be picked up at any Wal-Mart.
If you would like to hear Brad's side of the story feel free to call his Cell Phone number at 405-395-4977 or better yet send him an email explaining how much you respect their "intent" to screw the general public because we are all "idiots" for trusting their "legally binding contracts" brad.montgomery@vyvebb.com #KARMABRAD #ITSA***CH

When it works, its decent quality. Ive been a customer for 6 years and with each experience of an issue have learned one solid thing: their work order system is terrible. When service was initially installed, they left 300 ft of fiber optic laying on my grass. I finally buried it myself after several no-show appointments. Any service call since has had extreme issues getting resolved including the current problem. Ive been out of service for 11 days and have 10 MISSED appointments.
No one cares to get this resolved and i cannot speak to any supervision within the company. Being in the service industry myself, i have a different type of patience than most, but this is absolutely terrible, and im not alone.

If you have absolutely any other choice for cable and internet, do no walk but run to them! This is the worst company you can ever possibly think about doing business with. Horrible customer service, horrible service, and they do not stand behind their products. They do not hold their staff responsible for selling services that they cannot provide. They must be the worst service provider in the entire world!

Worst ever. We were scheduled for a 1p-5p install. They still didn't show up in that time frame. We had to cancel plans. Called customer service and they basically told us well we have no ETA but you're next. Technician didn't show up until almost 6:30pm. With no phone call, they could have called us and told us they'd be late. Crappiest customer service ever.

I do not even know where to begin with this review. I will preface by saying, having spent 20 years in IT from being an enginner up to being Head of IT Production, I do sincerely try to understand and relate to technology providers. Having said that the service (both customer and functional), or lack there of, that I receive from Vyve Broadband is the worst that I have experienced in my entire life inclduing my career. Let's start with the customer service and business approach.
I acknowledge that I live in a rural area and I understand they can not offer my fiber/GB to the desktop within the same pricing, etc. that I received when living in a larger area previously. However, the service I receive is orverpriced. They have a monoply in this area as they are the only ISP (minus one satellite provider) that provides high speed service.
Therefore they charge whatever they want b/c customers have no chocie. Secondly, they lack business ethics. Example: During this time of global pandemic they are choosing to make additional money by continuinig to charge people for data overages. Compare this approach versus the approach of my wireless carrier who has added 15GB of hotpsot data (without me asking) b/c they know and understand these are extra ordinary times.
Now let's look at the actual service. I have on average at least one outage a month. I'm not talking about the standard 5 minute disrption where a simple modem reboot/reset restores service. I'm taking about an hour or more where the problem is clearly on their side of the service. We receive no communication no updates. Some of these outages are hours.
The most recent example was a 23 hour outage. Again, as a technical person, I understand they were impacted due to a larger problem with a Tier 1 (maybe Tier 2) provider upstream. However, we received basically no information or updates. We got 3 updates but they were hours apart and contained no information. This was during a time when many customers were relying on this service to work from home, attend school from home, etc.
I was fortuante enough to be able to use my phone as a hotspot and worked off of that all day. If I had not had this option I would have been forced to take a personal day off. Four days later, I had another outage that lasted about 6 hours. No information or update at all was provdied on this one. Through all of this, I have received no credits. I have not been able to get Vyve to answer my questions.
They will not provide me with the SLA's of their residential service. This company is ineffective in their delivery of service. They are uncaring and unwilling to understand their customers. They refuse to change their operating model b/c they know they have zero competetion. Hopefully this review reaches people and has some sort of impact.

The. Absolute. Worst. The cable and internet go out multiple times a week. If it's out of business hours there is no one to report / reset / talk to. It's an absolute shit show. If you want to pay over the phone it's $5 to speak to a person.? Really? And the automated is a nightmare. Thinking of switching to just internet to quit dealing with this company.

They are the only broadband option in town and they know it. They have absolutely no concern about the consumers wants or needs. Took three weeks to get primary installation. 70 dollars installation "one time fee". Internet out a couple days first month. Turned me off on a Friday over 20 dollars (my fault? Sure, but really?) with no shut off notice or call. Response, "we can climb the pole and turn you back on on Wednesday (6 days later). Wow, climb the pole.
They still do that? Time Warner could do it over the phone. Low rent company with a low rent attitude charging premium prices. If you can, choose anything else. Then again. Att is probably just as bad. It's a shame. vyve could be a better company.

Great new packages! We took the $89.99 package, get all three! They waived the installation of the new DVR, since we were existing customers (previously know as allegiance) All digital HDTV, unlimited nationwide phone service, and fast Internet. They said up to 25 Mbps.were actually downloading about 28!
