The security and the peace of mind is well worth the money. I don't have to manage that server anymore and won't have to worry about ransomware attacks. And now, if we do get something, I can't control 24 people, 24 workstations. It's very easy to switch and it's very easy to move forward. You don't really notice a difference going from your own server to Ideal's. It takes me less time because I don't have to remember to restart the server weekly, do the updates, any of that. It frees me up to do other things.

Ideal software works well for outdoor power equipment sales and service. The work order process works well for the service department, the floor plan feature is nice to track units paid and unpaid, and the addition of the Accounting module helps to keep everything in one place. We recently upgraded to Ideal's cloud version with no problems with the help of their responsive support team.

If you run a dealer type of business and are looking for a point of sale software then look no further. This software has any and everything you would ever need along with all the bells and whistles if that interest you as well. Seeing this implemented for my clients, I can say you will increase your total profits with this software's ability. I recommend setting up a demo. Clint was great showing us how it works and all the benifits to the software.
Of course we can also see where we have been losing profit previously and how the software corrects that so moving forward my clients are collecting that profit. The process setting everything up was seemless. There team works closely with you to set it up just how you would like. Michael has also been a great help with quickly answering my emails or calls when any questions may come up from my clients or myself.

I have been the Bookkeeper at a lawncare and outdoor power equipment dealership just outside of Toledo, Ohio for the last 2+ years and have had nothing but great experiences with the support team at Ideal Computer Systems. After replacing our no-longer-supported point-of-sales program with a program called Commander, we wrote that one off as a $9,000 mistake. We finally wised up and purchased IDEAL. We're in our third year with IDEAL and have found it perfect for our small engine sales and service business. The very few items we've found that needed improving, we submitted and they often incorporated in a future version. We are VERY much pleased with both the IDEAL program and their level of prompt, skilled support.

I've been dealing with Ideal since I first started my job @Allpower Equipment Company back in January of 2011. As the only parts guy at the time, I picked up on the software very easily and was amazed on how versatile it was where I could do almost anything. The General Manager here at the time a year later had a stroke. I had to jump into his shoe's shotgun style.
Ideal support team walked me through everything I needed to learn of quickly and been a great support. I eventually took over as General Manager and work with them time to time. The staff has taught me so much I don't have to contact them often. I miss some of my favorites that moved on, but Ryan (the sales support) and technician Paul have been great help at any time and go way out of their way.
I would recommend Ideal software to any dealership of any kind. They design the software with the needs of this kind of Industry. They also made upgrades that dealers suggest including some of my own requests.

Our store has recently started our POS conversion to Ideal. Our territory sales executive, Warren, has been helpful in explaining the different plans and options. If any dealers looking at switching to Ideal Business System I would be looking for something different. Customer service taking over a week to respond to a ticket is a little excessive. Then when they call they tell you to try this or that with paying support over $7000.00 per year and that does not include price for the price files. Customer support has went to the toilet.
