I'm VERY unimpressed with this company, took my laptop here because it was very slow. So they told me they would diagnose the problem, call me to let me know before fixing it, and me a price. After a while I called them to check on it, and they said it was ready and it would be $70. Number one, I never got a phone call, and they insisted they called me and left a message.
Not only did I not get a phone call, but you could not even leave a message cause the voicemail was full. REALLY PEOPLE! Second, you tell me the person who fixed it is off today, there is no manager on site, and you dont call me back to see how my laptop is working or how my service was. Meaning you could care less, nice way to run a business. So basically I paid you $70 for nothing, you took my money and my computer is slower now than it was before I brought it to you. Thanks guys, for being so unconcerned!

SM is incoherent and rude. Techs don't know the difference between their left and right hand. I took my iPhone 12 in. It had a problem that was identified and recalled BY APPLE. Apple themselves even said this repair will be covered on iPhone 12 and 12 pro models if the warranty is up. These guys plugged my phone into some "software" and determined the screen was not a genuine Apple screen and could not be opened.
So they could not fix the phone. This phone was purchased new, I opened it and have never had any work done to it. Anywho, they proceeded to tell me I'm wrong and that they won't do anything about it. I went to best buy and they not only fixed the broken speaker, but they replaced the entire screen as well! This place is trash. I went back to let the SM know of this issue I had experienced and as I explained this exact issue to him.
He couldn't figure out who I was, where he was, he almost forgot how to breath. And he still didn't understand the issue. The techs here are quite rude and extremely lazy and the SM is very easily bewildered and has an extreme lack of understanding. Just don't go here. Like other reviews have said. Go to Best Buy for Apple related issues.

Staff was readily available (and polite) and were able to help me find what I was looking for, explained to me more than enough to make an educated purchase. Staff was knowledgeable and in touch with the products in the store enough to give me useful recommendations, had items not available online (from reputable sellers) or in other stores. Will definitely love to shop here again!

I've used Tech Advanced a few times now. They are top notch. They're experts in their field. They thoroughly diagnose the issues and present the possible solutions. Most of all, they care about the customer. They aren't crooks. They're just a good group of workers who know all about computers and want to help you find the solution that's right for you.
My most recent computer problem was that my computer wouldn't power up. They diagnosed a simple and cheap fix and had it back to me as good as new. Other places could've charged plenty more with a lot less concern for the customer they serve.

Brought in my 2019 MacBook Air to get the screen fixed (cat vs computer mishap, cat won) they completely fixed the issue and did so in a super fast manner keeping us informed about what was happening with my computer. They also explained certain things to us which eased my mind about the process. Definitely recommend if you are needing Apple fixes. Pictured is the before and after being fixed

Sucked, took my pc in to get it to display, they said the reason it didn't display us because the motherboard had bent pins, I told them that's untrue because it was working before I enabled secure boot. So I asked them for a screw driver we took it apart there was 1 bent pin, wee looked up the pin manual for the mother board, turns out that pin doesn't do anything at all anyways so it doesn't matter if it's bent or even taken out, which makes sense because why would it work before but all of a sudden not work when I enable something on my computer.
I stoll had to pay 70$ for something they didn't even do, will never ever come back. The technician has zero computer knowledge and I should've listened to the bad reviews before I went in, lesson learned.

They dont deserved any stars! will never fucking shop here again. was not told about restocking fee when i made a 54 dollar purchase here. i asked the rep if the item was returnable and he told me to have the original package and because i did not give him my phone number i would need the receipt. went home tried the item and it worked but i would have to reconnect it whenever i shut off my computer and turn it back on. so i returned it today and was charged a restocking fee because the package could not be resealed and sold. um excuse me? the package comes unsealable once opened. the box wasnt rip to shreds or anything. i cut the side of the package with scissors. simply putting tape along the side would have been fine. walmart target and other places sell items with tape on it from returns. what the hell is their problem? bastards made me pay for them to put the item in a new box to sell it as new! the item was used so why would you go and sell it as new to someone else? and charge me the fee to scam someone else? thats fucked up and i will never shop here again. i told my friend about them and she wants me to bring her there to get her computer checked. bullshit! will not let her deal with these cons and they will not receive anymore business from me or anyone i know. lost a customer for life. and anyone ask me about them ill be sure to let them know about my experience and yes i did tell them a piece of my mind. this place is not to be trusted ever!

My apple laptop keyboard died. I live or die on this computer. I went in on a Tuesday and by Thursday it was fixed. I was on a working vacation. These people are great. They saved my ass. I can not say enough. Drive in from Orange Beach and they got right on it. This is the only certified Apple Store around. Nothing within 200 miles of OB Alabama. If you need a PC or Apple repair these are the go to guys. I can't say enough. They are a young geek crew, but they know there stuff. Kudos to Rob sho waited on me.

My family and I have used Tech Advanced Computers (TAC) since 2012--they are amazing. While my daughters may sometimes damage their computers beyond TAC's ability to repair this rarely happens. What I like best about them is they are here for the long haul. They would rather do an inexpensive minor repair then sell you a new system that you don't need.
My last visit was to replace two screws that fell out of my laptop. Rather than sell me a new case they were able to find the hardware and had me out the door in under five minutes at no charge. We continue to be lifetime customers of TAC. I would rather shop local at TAC because if all my business goes to Amazon, shops like TAC won't be here to help my children.

Brought in my Macbook Pro which was as dead as a doornail. The Apple tech (Robert) checked out and found that Apple would replace my bad components for free! So they fixed my Mac and didn't even charge me the usual "bench fee" of $60, which is great! Maybe Apple covered it who knows, all I know is these folks are OK in my book.

My Lenovo netbook needed a new power jack, one of the simplest and most common repairs for laptops. They charge a flat $150+ fee, which is expensive, but they are the only local store open later than 5 pm. It took the technician 4 days to figure out that there was a sliding lock switch next to the power button. Once she figured that out, the repair took less than 24 hours. Obviously, she should have taken more time, because it was broken again the 3rd time I connected the power cord.
The next technician assured me there would be no charge for repairing it again if it was the same issue, which it was. A solder joint had broken, again a simple repair. The same issue happened the 2nd time I plugged it in. This time, because I hadn't paid for the 2nd repair and the 30 day warrantee from the initial repair had expired, they wanted to charge me another $150+ to fix it. Shoddy work, worse service, and a huge a-hole on the phone. I recommend you find someone that charges by the hour and has more respect for their own work.

Visiting from out of town and working on my parents older PC and I got stuck when I renamed a file instead of replacing it. It caused me to be locked out of the OS. I tried everything I knew, but knew that the resolution was to hook the drive to another system so that the file could be accessed and renamed. After trying a couple of other places who were too important to help with such a menial task, Tech Advanced Computers hooked up the drive to one of their systems and renamed the file for FREE! Now my parent's PC works great. in fact, I am writing this review on it!

This place has saved my butt time and time again, I can't be more grateful. The other night, I come rolling in near closing on a Saturday and even still, the technician at the front counter is willing to help me test and troubleshoot my old Frankenstein of a PC. Not only was the service helpful and pleasant but the shop itself had the ancient pci card I needed to revive my creation! I love you guys, stay helpful and thank you for having such an amazing selection always in stock.

My iMac completely died on me. It wouldn't power on at all. After a support call, Apple sent me to Tech Advanced as it was still within the one year warranty. When Robert tried to verify the warranty, Apple denied it as the purchase date was wrong in their system. He was very helpful in assisting me to get that corrected. He kept in constant contact with apple and kept me updated.
I took the Computer in on Labor Day Monday and the warranty was verified on Wednesday. The logic board had to be replaced and was ordered right away. I had it back on Thursday! I was so very impressed with the customer service and turnaround time! Thank you Tech Advanced!

Love this place for repairing our Apple products. They replaced a failed hard drive on our iMac. They replaced a faulty TimeCapsule. Now they repaired our MacBook Air when the hinge cracked and the screen went white. Although it was out of warranty, they said that they had a few MBAs with the same problem and Apple has been authorizing the fix for free. They seem very experienced with Apple products. They also had it back to us in 48 hours. Great service. Highly recommend.
