Super helpful, I had not visited a computer service center since the early 00s. Computer Guru was able to help me recycle an old Dell Inspiron that was not worth repairing and removed my hard drive and offered advice for consolidating my older HDs and SSDs all in about 5min!

I had a great experience with this business. They quickly diagnosed my laptop issues (dead mother board, sucks for me) and got back to me with options. I decided to just get the data off the laptop, and they did that quickly and the fees charged were very fair. I would have no problem recommending their services and would certainly use them again if needed.

Rarely do I give five stars to any review. Chris and Winter over at AZ Computer Guru went above and beyond what employees in businesses seem to do these days. My computer had a new hard drive in it and was repaired in a few days. When I got it home I could not get a drive into my printer (pesky beasts that they are.) and Chris remotely took a half hour of his time to install one so my printer would actually do what it's supposed to do - print! Needless to say my laptop will not be going to any other repair shop in town any time soon. Thanks much for being there and being local. Carl

Great service updating my little Mac Book Air with a new hard drive. They kept me informed all along the way and worked diligently to transfer all my data over.

I contacted them about setting up a website and Rob was absolutely amazing to work with and very responsive. Definitely appreciated his creativity. I would have a concept and just try to put it to words and he would have a fantastic mock up of whatever I was thinking, which made it incredibly easy from there to edit or change small things. As I pulled into the lot and was getting the computer out of my vehicle there was a guy in a Guru truck had gotton out and was holding the door for me. He had picked up the cord I dropped before I could set the computer down and go back to get the cord that dropped. The young man inside at the counter was also so polite and helpful. He even took the time to guide me to help find a monitor with an hdmi connector.

I am so very impressed with the service here. Absolutely THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE and they have become my go to computer repair from now on. Thank you guys sooooo much for your kindness.

Could not figure out how to get music into a new Android platform music player with my MacBook. Chris was excellent, knowledgeable about computers and electronics, Android and Apple, and solved the problem. He is easy to talk to and explains things very well to a non tech (78 y/o) guy like me. He was unfamiliar with my new device but quickly figured it out. He should have charged me more than he would accept for the work. This was all around a great find for me.

This is an update to my first review. At first I was unhappy because supposedly they had updated my computer with the latest updates to handle the issues my laptop was having, but when I got it home it said it needed to restart for an update. But when I pressed to restart it blue screened for hours. I finally had to do a hard shutdown. But when it came back up it was working fine.

I reinstalled my malwarebytes and that works fine as well. I have to say I was pleased with their concern and their desire to get the whole situation right. The customer service is good. And now my computer's working fine So apparently their work (although incomplete at the time) was fine. Once I was able to restart the computer it worked fine and the original problems seem to be handled.

These guys have always been there to help when all else fails. They'll drop everything they're doing to help you if it seems like an easy fix for them. Just recently, Chris helped me get my laptop running like new again after it had been overrun with malware. It took him less than an hour and he took my finances into consideration as well. These guys deserve nothing less than 5 stars for that alone! Thank you Chris!

Awesome! That is the word I would to describe Computer Guru. Chris, Mike, and Winter are fantastic, and I can't forget security guy Rex -fabulous! I have been taking my work computers to Howard for years now. He is very thorough, knowledgeable and gets the job done! The customer service they all provide is outstanding, and I love how they work with me to help me understand what is going on in terms I can understand.

Kathy did a great job putting a screen protector on my new laptop. Very pleasant and professional employees, they were so nice to my husband too. I will make sure to go back to them for all my tech needs! Nice price, as well.

Been here a few times since my initial visit and was happy with the help and service I received from the techs and the front desk. Overall a good place to go!

Had a great experience with Mike, the owner, Howard, the tech and Becky their office manager. Everyone is professional, awesome and I enjoyed working with a local Tucson company instead of Apple Care. I work just up the street and Mike stopped into my work to give me an update on my computer in person. I ended up having to buy a new computer because by human error, I fried the motherboard on my laptop. Howard helped me select the best desktop for my needs and they completed a data transfer for me to the new machine. *Fingers crossed* I won't be needing their services for a good, long time, but I will be referring all my friends to them and listening to their podcast. Took my 8 year old laptop in for a cooling fan issue. it took a little longer then I thought it would for diagnostics because of the cooling fan issue and the fact that I didn't have a running dvd drive but still well within the quoted 5 days. Their system sent emails to me at every step and Carl called to explain too. they ordered the new fan, applied the sync compound, removed malware found on my laptop and installed programs to keep it from happening again.

Even found a used battery to replace my dead one at a good deal. My computer runs great and I'd take it back if it ever needed more work in the future. Good Job! Update as of 2/29/16: Had a small issue with file permissions that was discovered after I first published this review. I wrote an e-mail on their website on a Friday evening expecting not to hear anything back til Monday.

They called me on Saturday there wasn't much time to do anything so made an appointment for Monday to do a remote access fix. it took hours but all covered under the warranty for the work that was done in the shop. Problem fixed all the files are mine again and laptop works like a dream. Thanks again.

Now that they have a new shop on the Eastside, it's convenient as well as rewarding to have a repair and great service nearby. I am very happy with the work done on my desktop PC, its new OS and new harddrive. I highly recommend Arizona Computer Guru. I have had services over the last 10 years with 2 other computer service companies and the 3rd time is the charm.

I have used Guru to build a few different websites for me and they have done a great job of not only designing the website for the look I wanted but also helped my SEO considerably with how they helped me design the back end of the website. They have always been available to me if I ever had any issues with learning how to do my own editing and adding content to my sight.

Very happy with their attentiveness to my needs as a small business owner and taking care of a lot of the little things that I can't always think of on my own when it comes to my web presence. They are also affordable and reasonable. Many other web designers offered the same services to me for over double the price that Guru did the project for.

Update 1/18/15: I recently took my computer to the computer Guru for an tuneup. They checked the equipment, updated my operating system to Windows 7 and put in a solid state drive to speed up the system. They are all professional, helpful and very knowledgeable. Thanks again for the great work! Computer guru has helped me with my computer needs on several occasions.

I am a long term customer. The owner and employees are extremely professional, knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. They build high quality products, and are excellent at support as well. For example, recently I was in a pinch when my hard drive had crashed. They got me up running quickly, including transferring all my information to a new larger hard drive. I was very pleased. The service here is excellent. Even though we live way across town, my husband and I have both used this company for computer repair. They understood that I needed my computer for work and any down time created a problem for me. They give you a time frame for repair and keep in touch with you by phone and email as to the status of the repair service.

I like that, as I didn't have to pick up the phone and call/bug them once. And they are very honest. My service tech, Chad, explained everything to me in clear terms. I would recommend this company highly

I was very satisfied with the job that Arizona Computer Guru did for me with fixing my laptop. I went first to a Geek window in a big box store. The other guys said they would have to keep my computer for a week just to figure out what was wrong. AZ Computer Guru looked at it that day, ordered the part, and let me keep it while we were waiting for the part. They they fixed it in one day, and I was back in business. They kept in touch to let me know what was happening. They were great! I highly recommend them.

This is the second time I have entrusted my computers to the staff at AZ Computer Guru. The first time my Mac Book battery melted and they recovered some of the files that went with the melt down. This time my Asus laptop was corrupted and they were able to next it in one day. The staff is courteous and efficient. AND: very patient with someone. like me who asks a lot of questions.

I know enough about computers to cause myself problems. The cost for repair is very reasonable and they are very knowledgeable in all types and issues of computers. I came to Computer Guru, more than 4 wks. ago, and talked to an employee named Harold, and told him I would need data transfer, as well as his expertise on a new computer that i was planning to buy and was the new computer, able to be updated in the future with a newer vidio card, etc. I called him twice in 2wks.,n ever heard back from him. Then I met the owner, who I have heard on the local radio show, about this sitution and met him in person, on a Sat.

We (myself & the owner, Mike) talked for 1/2 an hr. about what my needs were, concerning the new computer and even gave him a spec. sheet and then he said he would call me back. Never did. I would not recommend this company to anybody, as they are not professional enough to even have the courtesy of calling back a perspective customer. I will take my business to Compuer Renissence, as I have heard from previous customers, they deliver.

My laptop died due to a hdd failure. I handed it off to them for repair which was fast friendly and cost effective. They ended up replacing said hard drive and putting (cause it's a PeeCee) Micro$loth's Winblows back on it with my recovery disks. They also installed a great anti-virus (which I have never liked to run before) and a couple other "make my system run like a champion all the time" programs.

The work was completed before I expected it to be done. They phoned promptly when they had "go ahead" questions and kept me updated via emails throughout the service request. I have used other services in the past. The BlueBox store's "geeks" are mere fumbling children when compared with the experience and knowledge of the Guru's at this place!

Now that I have experienced Arizona Computer Guru's service - I'll never go anywhere else. To sum it up here's a quote from their website, "In fact, Cox Communications, Apple Stores, and other notable IT service providers have referred their customers to us for the resolution of particularly troublesome issues." That says it all right there boys and girls!

I want to go to the "go to guys" for "the other guys". Why mess with the rest when you can start with the best? I use my computer in a business sense and can not afford to be "down" for any length of time. These guys got me up and running quickly. Signed, Web developing computer geek.

Received the finished product finally. I received phone calls and email updates all the way through and not only did they check what I was worried about, but they also did a full computer scan to check for holes in the operating system and software without charging extra! I really really like this place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for computer help. Please please don't call the big box stores! They're idiots! This place is first class!
