To be fair: these folks are massive-scale design experts, not PC techs. If it's smaller than a Sun enterprise workstation, these are probably not the droids you're looking for. They can handle things as modern as clouds or obscure tools, hardware and software dating back 50 years or more. They employ several world-recognized experts on distributed file systems, mainframe computing, system engineering and network engineering on very large (telco) scales.
They can do software development or pure research tasks at a very high level, as demonstrated by their Fortune 100 clients. Many of their designs have scaled to 500,000+ users, and they have the gift of making complex systems understandable in plain English. If you have a big or hard problem that has proved to be intractable to the usual contractors, call these guys. If they can't do it, it probably can't be done.
