Platte River Networks was created by two dedicated IT professionals who had a simple and unique vision, "How would you like to be treated both as a company and as an individual?" Whether you are the provider, customer, co-worker, employer, partner, vendor or friend. From that one question a company was born focusing on honesty, integrity, teamwork and motivation.
Our entire staff strives every day to provide the best customer experience possible. The founding partners have established a healthy vibrant environment focusing on the customer with a commitment to quality, working as a team, and doing what it takes by actively listening to each other and our customers.

Finding good technology solutions is half the battle. Effectively applying those solutions to day to day operations is the key to any company's success. Read what our technology vendors have written about how we have taken their solutions, applied them to real business challenges and have helped companies succeed.
Consistently winning diverse projects proves our team strives to integrate new technologies into the solutions we recommend. Here are some of the projects we are winning and implementing. We beat out multiple large local and national IT firms in winning this amazing project. We designed, procured, implemented and continue to help manage the IT infrastructure for the new DIA light rail line that runs from downtown Denver Union Station to the Denver International Airport. We built a highly redundant, scalable, efficient and super-fast infrastructure at the main data center downtown; plus a highly available hot site at the DIA datacenter.

I made every effort to completely avoid having to write this review, but it has to be done. My former employer used them for several months, after I chose them for our IT services, before I became unbelievably frustrated with their utter lack of communication by their staff. After agreeing to let the company out of the contract for "cause", they are now giving my former employer a hard time about cancelling the services, demanding documentation.
So here I am to tell you all about my 4-month adventure with PRN. The help desk side of things was ok, according to employees, but the administration side of things was just awful. They made endless promises about onboarding and communication, none of which ever happened. The Technical Account Manager (TAM) was supposed to set up regular calls and have discussions with me about the progress of the onboarding as well as other issues/projects that needed to be addressed.
Even in their quote they promised weekly calls with the TAM, and after mentioning this to multiple people on at least 4 occasions, nothing ever changed. Even after I told the TAM we needed to get these things done, he did not follow through. They just, flat-out, did not care at all about the company I worked for. They also never lived up to the expectations we had of them. Expectations that were SET BY THEM.
They decided to implement windows updates with no notifications to end users, causing reboots with loss of work. They implemented Mimecast the day before thanksgiving, resulting in many email notifications not being delivered to employees, causing a revenue loss due to USPS mail going out late. Failed backups for two weeks. The absolute inability to quickly troubleshoot some problems.
My god, this list could go on and on, but my review length is limited here. Finally, completely fed up with PRN, and having given my notice after 15 years with my employer, my former boss and I decided it was time to find a company who actually cared about the IT infrastructure. We had a conversation with Dave at PRN and he completely understood the situation.
It was a great discussion and we thought we would have a nice peaceful transition to the new company after my departure. Now, a month later, I find out that they are giving the company a hard time about cancelling. Par for the course. Do yourself a favor and find literally any company other than this one to do business with. Their pitch was nothing but top notch, and I greatly appreciated their free network analysis, but there are far better companies out there. Just do your research.

I've been working with Platte River for about 7 years. They respond very quickly whenever we're experiencing issues and they solve problems correctly the first time. But I also appreciate how they keep us informed about new solutions and how those solutions will change our work environment. In short - great people, great company! Thanks Platte River team!

Platte River Networks is one of the most well known names for business IT in Denver. Their reputation for customer service that goes above and beyond precedes them. As a business owner, finding an IT provider that was the right fit wasn't easy. We interviewed several firms, and Platte's name kept rising to the top. Once the decision was made, it became clear that we were very fortunate to have them as a partner. Their help has been priceless.

I have known Platte River Networks for Many Many years. The people are great. They are very knowledgeable. I had issues with a client of mine a while back and they were there to help fix the issue. They will talk to you at your level and they never look down at people that don't understand networks and computers.

I've had the pleasure of working with Platte River Networks for well over 7 years. Their staff and technicians are among the most professional and knowledgeable I've run across. With their technical expertise we've been able to virtualize our server infrastructure and reduce out IT costs by more than 50%. I would gladly recommend Platte River Networks to anyone in need of IT services.
