I have worked with staffing agencies on both sides of the spectrum. I have found some great jobs working through temp agencies, and also some great employees. You get average staffing agencies, and horrible employees. It comes with the territory. But this is the first staffing agency that I have ever felt like warning other people about. Unprofessional!
It took them over a week to get a client that we found in for a drug test, and the paperwork to run through! Then when we started the employee, they still hadn't processed the paperwork! How do I know? We moved him to a different temp agency after one day, and when we requested his payment for that one day, they blew us off over and over for over 2 months!
And then the response from Leena was, "He switched agencies in 1 day. It is a cost to set him up and pay for just 1 day. We also need to generate an invoice and follow up for payment. Can you not pay these 8 hours thru the other agency he is currently processing thru. Please consider that to make things easy all across." If they were proactive in the first place, we may still be running employees through them! It took two or three days, with multiple emails and phone calls to get them to contact us back! Please save yourself the trouble and do not use these people!
