WinTV is Hauppauge's TV application for your Windows PC: TV in a window, picture-in-picture or TV full screen. WinTV Extend is a remote TV viewing application for your iPad or iPhone (or PC or Mac). Plex brings live TV and DVR to the NVidia Shield and other Plex servers. PCI Express TV boards. Both the WinTV-quadHD and WinTV-HVR-1265 are 1/2 height with brackets for full size and half height PCIe slots.
Are you getting error messages 'Setup could not detect your product', TV Tuner not available' or 'Unable to locate capture filter' after Windows 10 installed an update?. This is a known "feature" of the new release of Windows 10, related to video cameras but also affecting TV tuners and video recorders.

They don't answer emails sent to sales. Emails sent to their tech support section just bounce back as undeliverable. Their phone lines do not work, either. I have several Hauppauge capture products and after a recent Microsoft update, they no longer work properly. If you can't call them or even email them, I cannot recommend their products.

Buyer Beware! I bought the Hauppauge HD PVR from KTI Supply and when I used it I was having problems with the video cutting in and out and audio out of sync frequently or missing sections of video during recording. I contacted Jared at Hauppauge support and was working with him for several months on trying to resolve the problems. After awhile of it not working he thought maybe it was a bad unit and they sent me a replacement unit thinking this would solve the problems.
After getting and trying the second unit which still had the same problems I bought an Elgato game capture HD out of frustration and the issues I had with the HD PVR were no longer a problem at all. I contacted their support and requested a refund for the HD PVR not working still and Jared sent the request to his supervisor Jerry who could not ok it.
They sent it up to their CEO Ken for the refund and he said I should get in contact with KTI Supply who I bought the original Hauppauge HD PVR from. I haven't gotten any response from KTI Supply on the refund by phone nor email. I can not understand the reason why Hauppauge nor KTI Supply will not stand behind the product they sell. If we do not hear back from either of you I think everybody should know what kind of companies Hauppauge and KTI Supply are and I feel it is a must based on my experience to advise potential customers by posting on Amazon, Trusted Reviews, Yelp, Consumer Reports, Gamespot, Engadget, CNET and any more that we can find to inform people of Hauppauge's lack of support and we just don't care attitude that they will not stand behind their product.
As well as the lack of response from KTI Supply on getting a refund for the product irregardless of the time we spent trying to make it work. I wonder if KTI Supply is informing potential customers of how Hauppauge is treating those who buy their product, especially when we found there is a much better choice with Elgato!

I purchased an HVR-2250 digital TV receiver card for my PC. It was to replace the analog card I had been using. The audio produced by the card is erratic. Multiple attemps to obtain support from Hauppauge Computer Works went unanswered. I believe the card has design flaws and Hauppauge Computer Works will not stand behind their product.
