I had a problem setting up Skype. Skype's customer service did find a major problem with my computer, but I wasn't comfortable having their subcontracted support fix the trouble (in part due to their high prices). So, I called RescuTechs. Etsel fixed the problem easily and didn't find the 'major problems' that "Tezcom" found. I have used RescuTechs and Etsel before and I am happy that I used them again. They are fair, reasonable and can communicate well with the less than computer savvy customer.

After having purchased a new laptop from Dell (never, ever again!), I started having bio issues and my laptop keep recycling to a blue screen. I naturally called Dell, and they had me purchase a "software" contract which apparently was different from my valid hardware warranty. After seven hours on the phone with them, and being hung up on 13 times, I decided they were useless and needed to find another alternative.
I was hesitant to have someone touch my laptop, as we use if for business, none the less take it to their office to fix it. I did a decent amount of due diligence online and decided to try ResucTechs. I called, and the owner, Etsel Skelton, answered the phone. I explained the issue and he came over later that day which impressed me. He checked the entire system and explained that he needed to take it back to the shop in order to back up the system and then re-install.
Two days later he returned the laptop, made a few more adjustments to my personal taste and it has been problem free since. RescuTechs knows what they are doing, do it efficiently at a reasonable cost, and remain there for you should any other issues arise. I would wholeheartedly recommend them.

This company, and especially Edsel, have been a great group to deal with. I have lived in Camarillo for two years, and continually had computer problems with both my computer and my grandson's. I have dealt with Staples, rude and useless, and two other companies, also not very cooperative. RescuTechs have been so helpful; friendly staff when calling; quick responses to my needs; assistance with anything related to my computer, and they come to my home so I do not have to drag either laptop to their location.
I worked for a large educational institution for 35 years and always had quick assistance and now I can count on RescuTechs. for quick assistance. Edsel is patient answering my questions; assisting me in processes; and is totally helpful in every way. My stress over computers is over. My rating would be six stars for the absolute best and more.

My old, but much loved Vaio took a header off my bed causing the screen to implode. Geek Squad told me the repair would be so costly I should buy a new computer. I called RescuTechs because of the reviews and the fact they were local. Etsel came to my home, picked up my computer, told me if it could not be fixed there would not be a charge. But he was able to fix it, and the cost was lower than the ball park quoted by Best Buy.
He was so very nice, I got my computer back timely and he even came out to figure out a problem involving my wifi which had nothing to do with the computer problem and did not charge me. Top notch work, and I am cannot thank Etsel enough. I highly recommend them!
