On a recent week-long trip to Fort Lauderdale, the battery in my four-year-old Dell laptop finally gave up the ghost completely. I looked for someone close to my friend's abode and settled on Coastal Computer because they were close and because the reviews seemed to be more personal and specific than the usual "great service great price" types. They lived up to every great advance billing. No, they ARE human! : But they're good at what they do and they don't over-promise, and they do what they say they will.
And when the dust cleared I actually got money BACK from them! Fair, honest, timely and competent, what more can you ask for? Well, you do have to cross a drawbridge to get to them, so there's that. But, in my opinion, totally worth the drive-and the wait, if you get nailed by the drawbridge gods like I did once. They are as responsive to little one-computer personal needs as they apparently are to business clients.

Outstanding experience. My computer simply stopped working. I took it to Geek Squad and they indicated it was fixed. Did not function whatsoever. I took it to Coastal Computers in a last ditch effort and the computer came back like new with files / programs transferred. All for a great price. Amy was a pleasure to coordinate with and Dakota did phenomenal work!
