I needed help in determining why my existing printer wouldn't work on my new computer. The computer settings showed the driver was unavailable. I tried downloading the drivers, as did Dell support, but no luck. Charles, from WebDispatch, responded. Within five minutes, he was able to determine that the printer wasn't compatible with Windows 11. I had him respond two days later to set-up my new printer, Seagate backup system, transfer everything from my old computer to my new computer and do additional things to improve my computing experience. Charles did an outstanding job, was engaging and personal.
The amount of knowledge he possesses about computer systems is phenomenal! In addition, WebDispatch is a Better Business Bureau accredited business with an A+ rating. I will continue to call WebDispatch for help regarding any computer issues.

Web Dispatch is the best. They are organized, responsive, answer phone calls, get the computer back to me quickly. I have taken computers there a number of times very successfully. I went to another highly rated computer repair and they were chaotic, disorganized, didn't return calls, kept computer a long time. So glad I went to Web Dispatch.

I have had several positive experiences with Web Dispatch, but this last one was so great I finally got over here to Yelp to give this company the great review they deserve. I had an old Mac (8 years old) and needed to move over to my new one. There were some significant legacy problems (such as an old version of QuickBooks that wasn't readily transferable to the new operating system). Charles came out to my house (properly masked, etc.), set up the initial conversion process, then returned the next day to complete and test that all went well.
I am so impressed with Charles' skill, logic and calmness. This was a stressful situation for me (as computer crises often are!) and he just facilitated the whole process with ease. Additionally, the fee for services is always reasonable. Charles demonstrates high integrity and honesty--and as other reviewers have mentioned--definitely alert to offer whatever is the most cost-effective solution for the customer. So I offer many thanks, and highly recommend this company.

5 year old laptop got the dreaded blue screen. Turned out the HD was toast. Paul was superb. Explained problem, provided alternatives with costs. Outlined process to mine data off of HD and restore to be laptop. No surprises along the way. Outstanding customer focus and explained in a way a 'challenged' user could understand.

I thought I unleashed ransomware on my computer so I used my phone to find this company. I contacted one company but they said I wasn't a big enough account for them, so kept searching. So glad I found Web Dispatch because they calmed me down and eased my tension by having me boot up while on the phone with them. Paul identified that it was scareware and not ransomware.
I took my computer to them that day and they did a thorough diagnostic, cleaned up a bunch of stuff, and charged a very reasonable fee, AND very promptly. They were very kind, patient, and informative. So happy to have a place I trust to take care of any future computer problems I may have. Can't thank them enough! Outstanding service and highly recommend.

I have been using WebDispatch for 8 years or more for my home computer needs. Same knowledgeable people who are very competent and patient (Mike, John, Charles). Besides normal debugging and disinfecting, they helped me select and buy online a PC and Monitor on 2 occasions for delivery to WebDispatch and then do all of the installation and software setup at my home.
I went from Windows Vista to Windows 10 and they were also particularly helpful in tutoring me with intro to Windows 10 and the current versions of the MS Office software. Not surprised to see all 5 star reviews.

Rude customer service. Maybe they would have done a good job. But anyone who argues with A customer before they've even agreed upon a service, is not going to get my business. Also, they don't even know what questions to ask prior to your appointment. They gave me information over the phone, based on me having a PC (although I never said I did).
So when I brought in my Apple MacBook, they were surprised and told me I had to wait five days before I could get it serviced because their Apple specialist wasn't there.

I had a catastrophic computer failure last week on my work machine and had no idea how to get it fixed. I went to Web Dispatch because they were just a few blocks from my office and at first I was not hopeful. The problem ended up requiring a re-installation of the operating system, which was diagnosed and completed over the course of a few days. It wasn't cheap, but when I realized I was missing some critical data files on the restored machine I called up and they were able to extract those files from the backup they kept. It saved me a LOT of time and money to have that service as part of the restoration, and for that reason alone it was well worth the cost of using Web Dispatch.

Have been using/relying on Web Dispatch for over 5 years. Very efficient, knowledgeable, always relivable and customer oriented. They will talk you through fixes by phone or remotely access your computer so they can do a "hands-on" fix. Would never use anyone else. Highly recommend them - without qualification

I called with a computer problem this morning. Yes, I'm a tech "dinosaur" it's true. I learned ALOT about the lack of "bedside" manner from this place. It's hard enough not knowing as much as I should about computers but to feel intimidated is NOT my idea of seeking worthy service. As San Ramon is limited in service tech. businesses?
I went out of my comfort zone with a company called FAST TEK from Castro Valley. WOW. From inception of call to visit? Very serviceable; very kind; very thorough and very reasonable charge. I have to thank WEB DISPATCH for disenchanting me so much, to the point of calling a competitor. I'd would have LIKED to given the business to a local person but I'll be darned if I'm going to be put off when I even CALL for service and help. They are "history" for me, that is for sure, and I've lived here 35 years.

These guys were great to work with. Took the time to ask questions and explain without any feeling of rushing the customer. Seems like common sense but this type of service isn't that common. Brought in an aging laptop and they diagnosed and fixed it as they said they would in the time and budget we discussed. Mike and the rest of the team were all helpful and friendly.

My computer crashed on a Friday night late. Took it in to WebDispatch first thing Saturday morning. The problem was a hard drive on its last legs. Mike started working immediately on retrieving data and transferring to a backup device. I came back later Saturday afternoon and then again Sunday afternoon (when they are "closed") to see the progress. Mike was able to safely retrieve my sensitive data. The computer was actually salvaged with a new hard drive. Web Dispatch did a great job and I will always use their services and recommend them to others.

I first became aware of Web Dispatch last year when I spotted their vehicles parked in front of their building, adjacent to a gymnasium where I worked out. The computer mechanic that I had been using at the time had recently shut down, and I did have some computer work that needed doing, so the following day I gave them a call. They answered the telephone on the first ring, asked to know the difficulty I'd been having, and we set up a housecall in less than ten minutes.
On the appointed day, the technician was five minutes early! Although my computer office was quite messy, he made no remarks about it, opened up my computer, and diagnosed the problem in minutes. As I watched him work, it was easy to see that he was both knowledgeable and that he liked his work. But more than that, the technician was like a miner who knew exactly where the mother-lode was located and how to quickly deliver the gold.
In less than 20 minutes, the work was done. I was so pleased, I decided to give him another job, and I produced an old computer and asked if he could transfer the data from it to the other computer's hard-drive. He said this could be done, but the transfer time would add up my bill and that it would be more practical for the work to be done at their headquarters, and that I could pick it up in two days' time.
He was helping me save money! What more could you ask for? So, when a piece of old software on my computer started giving me problems two weeks ago--and resisted being uninstalled--I gave Web Dispatch a call. They performed their excellent work again! I cannot recommend this company highly enough! They are terrific!
