Perfection PC

I want to commend Perfection PC for some great work they recently did on my old HP Pavillion desktop. First I was having problems syncing my smartphone to transfer photos. On Dec 29, 2021 I talked to Doug who was given remote access to my PC and in about 20 minutes fixed my issue. He did this for no charge! On June 15th I was again having issues transferring photos and I called Doug and he attempted to help but this time the issue required me bringing my smartphone to him at Perfection.

He worked on the issue and thought it was resolved. Before I could even check my home computer, Doug had looked into it and could see it was not working (he had remote access to my pc). He contacted me and said he would drive out to my house the next day to examine my pc and resolve the issue at no charge. He did that and although I had some issues, his solution eventually worked for me.

While I was at Perfection on the 15th, I brought up another issue I had been thinking about and asked Doug if my computer performance could be improved by getting a new solid state hard drive. Technician Julien Boker was there and both he and Doug agreed that would improve my computer's often sluggish performance. I was stunned by how affordable upgrading to a solid state hard drive would be.

I was mistakenly thinking it would be over $1000 but Julien put it in the $250 to $350 range. On the morning of the 23rd I called Perfection and asked Julien if I could bring my pc by for the upgrade hoping it would be ready by late Friday. Long story short - Julien got the new hard drive installed by 5 pm Friday and I was allowed to test it at Perfection.

It worked perfectly! in 2014 I had another computer shop in the Garland district transfer data from one hard drive to a new desktop I had purchased from Costco. Most of the transfer went well but one photo program (Picasa) was all messed up and months of meticulous organizing work was lost as thousands of images were scattered all over the app. When Julien did the data transfer, Picasa was in perfect shape - just the way it was on the old hard drive.

I was ecstatic! Later when I got the pc home, I checked out another potential trouble spot - itunes. itunes (at least from previous experience) only allows you to have their app and your purchased music on up to 5 computers or devices. In the past, when a computer of mine failed and I bought a new one and transferred my itunes library, they would remind me of their limit or sometimes not allow the transfer thinking I exceeded the mumber of devices.

This time, it was not even an issue! itunes opened up and worked perfectly. My computer now has great speed and efficency and is a pleasure to work with. I can't express how pleased I am with Perfection PC and the work of Julien Boker and Doug!

I had an unusual computer need. We got two kittens and they were chewing on the many cables running to the computer in my home office. Brian was able to cable this tangled mess into a neat set of tubing and trays that protected the cables and got rid of unsightly clutter. I have a sit/stand workstation and am still able to use both, which took some planning on his end.

I work on enterprise computer systems all day long but suck at cabling so I am glad Brian could accomplish what I never could. He was prompt, professional and communicated well.

I use to swear by them, but the last time I was in ( this month 3/22)not so much. Quoted one price, then up sold extra parts, only to be out a computer for over a week and the original issue wasn't fixed or isn't fixible! TPM alert on a Dell laptop. Paid twice as much as quoted, will admit it runs fine still in use for now.

Replaced my cracked laptop screen. Very affordable and friendly service. Does home visits too.

Chandler at Perfection PC was sensational. He was able to walk me through a quick-fix on my malfunctioning keyboard over the phone. And at no charge! This company is going to be the place I go to for any computer problems from here on out. I highly recommend these guys.

My laptop was running slow so decided to take it in. After I got it back it was still slow and the employees were very helpful I brought it back and they fixed it up. It needed a new hard drive.

I was getting whea uncorrectable error on my gaming pc I brought it into this shop and chandler told me after I paid him that they normally don't work on gaming PC's. I paid them $90 plus another $40 to have them work on it the same day. Chandler the young man who helped me after jealous of my rtx 2070 and proceeded to poke it while it was on along with the rest of my hardware like it was a hot steak on the grill then thought the graphics card was too hot from poking despite the fact I had hwmonitor that showed the graphics card operating at normal temperature ranges. Chandler proceeded to install a graphics driver then poked my graphics again and assumed the problem was fixed only for it to persist when I got home. I fixed the problem over the weekend myself because they weren't open on weekends.

I have several computers in my house. This is the only place I will take my PC. Good prices, amazing work, fast turn around.

They always save the day! Smoke was pouring out of the back of my computer, and I thought all was lost. But, Shane and his crew found all my data, built a new fast-and-furious solid state drive computer, and restored all my work onto the new computer. They made recommendations for a back-up system, and made sure I'm never in this spot again. I probably have more backup than I need, but who can afford to not be sure? They are always SUPER helpful, polite, and priced fairly. They have a customer for life, should I ever need their help again.

I had the good fortune to have Ryan recommended by one of my landscape clients. I asked him to assist me in making a backup system for my nursery and photography business. Since my photography generates terabytes of material, I did not want to use a cloud backup. He installed a sophisticated backup system that allows me to have 1. A backup hard drive internal to the computer in addition to the internal drives already in place 2.

A hard drive backup external to the computer on site and 3. A hard drive backup external to the computer off site. With 3 complete backups and one of those kept at another address, my backup is assured. Though it is complex software/hardware it is easy to use and his service has been most helpful. If there's a downside, he's busy and may not be immediately available. However, that is just what I was looking for.a personal relationship with my computer consultant.

Not just another client of a squad. And, if you want one consultant who knows you and your system, wouldn't you worry if he/she was never busy? Of course a successful business will be busy. I probably can't install your landscape the day you contact me about a project, we have other clients, but we're worth the short wait. So's Ryan. I think you'll be glad you chose him. Addendum: I had a sudden complete loss of ability to boot my computer (BIOS issue) and Ryan had me bring it in and I was back with my business in contact and working Internet in less than an hour. Inexpensive and great service even when in a time crunch with the business. I'd give them 6 stars if I could.
