The internet is full of many high-quality blogs and community resources already, you will find that much of my site is not generated content, but is rather a gathering of resources that I often read or refer to myself. I refer to these as my 'dex' pages. My Unidex, Windex, and Amdex pages are the most utilized. I do post my own content on various blog-like or topic-specific pages, but by far I try not to contribute to the cluttered internet with derivative work unless I can add an original slant or clarify other work.

My name is David Remy and I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado. By day I am a Systems Administrator Lead, however, in my free time I enjoy family, amateur radio, amateur lock sport, and I'm an all-around IT enthusiast. I've been in the IT field, in one way or another, since 1995. While in high school I was well known to staff and students for viruses removal, data recovery, and other PC repairs.
While Remy Services LLC is still operating, we are no longer taking on new customers for computer repairs. Utilizing various custom-built WindowsPE images, Linux Live CDs, remote access tools, and support methods we provided support to customers around the world. We offer Windows and Linux support for malware and rootkit removal, data recovery, network management, and SOHO/SMB secure remote server management.
Once my license and callsign were approved I applied for my father's silent key and was granted WAOKXO. My father was a licensed Advanced and was very active in the local community. General book and signed up for a General class through W0TLM. Again I was lucky to have both Stu, accompanied by Bob KONR (the technical editor of the book), and a few others from the club to be present for the class. Because it is a fun hobby! It's a hobby of hobbies. The amount of things you can do with an Amateur Radio license is almost limitless.
I want to be clear, I've picked up this hobby as it intrigues me, not because I have criminal intent. Security by obscurity is not security, and knowing how to pick a lock does not make you a criminal. Understanding how to secure your technology, money, toys, and family is something everyone should know more about.
